Գեներալ Գուլիևի հայտարարությունը, որպես պատերազմական գործողությունների վերսկսման մեսիջ
Փետրվարյան ձախողումներից և ադրբեջանի որոշ գեներալների ու հրամանատարների հեռացումներից հետո ալիևյան կլանը, այս անգամ ասպարեզ է նետել Ադրբեջանի սահմանապահ զորքերի հրամանատար Էլչին Գուլիևին ով հայտարարել է, թե «Ադրբեջանը սատարում է հակամարտության խաղաղ կարգավորմանը: Եթե Հայաստանը խուսափի այդ գործընթացից, ապա մենք մեր հողերը կազատագրենք ռազմական ճանապարհով: Ինչպես հայտարարել է Ադրբեջանի նախագահ, գերագույն գլխավոր հրամանատար Իլհամ Ալիևը, եթե Հայաստանը խուսափի խաղաղ գործընթացից, օկուպացված տարածքներում թշնամու քարը քարին չի մնա: Եթե Հայաստանը հետևություններ չանի ապրիլյան մարտերից, ապա ավելի ծանր հարված կստանա»: Այսպիսով վերջին ընթացքում տեղի ունեցող թուրք-ադրբեջանական զորավարժություններ ու ռուսաստանից և պակիստանից զինանոցը համալրելը, սահմանային միջադեպերն ու սադրանքները հստակ արտացոլում են Գուլիևի ուղորդված մեսիջի լրջությունը, որտեղ ալիևյան կլանը Հասանովի փետրվարյան ձախողված դեմքի փոխարեն մեսիջները հղում է գեներալ Գուլիևի միջոցով: Ապրիլյան պատերազմից հետո հայկական զինված ուժերում կատարված ինժիներական ահռելի աշխատանքի ու զինատեսակաների համալրման, դիրքերի նորագույն տեխնոլոգիաներով վերազինման արդյունքում հայկական կողմին մնում է ացնել պատժիչ գործողությունների, որն էլ ադրբեջանի հետ խոսելու միակ լեզուն ու զսպման մեխանիզմն է:
