Հայաստանում Եվրոպական Միության պատվիրակության ղեկավար Պյոտր Սվիտալսկին կարծում է, որ Հայաստանում Ազգային ժողովի ընտրությունների արդյունավետ անցկացման համար Եվրոպական Միության ներդրած գումարները լավ են ծախսվել և տվել են սպասված արդյունքը: Մայիսի 8-ին լրագրողների հետ հանդիպմանը Պյոտր Սվիտալսկին հիշեցրեց, որ ԵՄ ներդրած գումարներով ձեռք ե բերվել նույնականացման տեխնիկական սարքավորումներ, տեսախցիկներ, որոնք շատ լավ են աշխատել: 

«Զուտ տեխնիկական տեսանկյունից մենք բավարարված ենք: Բնականաբար, եղել են որոշակի խնդիրներ կապված ուղիղ հեռարձակման ընդհատման, մատնահետքերի սարքերի աշխատանքի խափանման հետ, բայց հիմա վերլուծում ենք բոլոր ստացված զեկույցները: Նաև աշխատանքների իրականացմանը հետևող վերահսկող մարմնի եզրակացությամբ՝ տեխնոլոգիաները շատ լավ աշխատել են, քան այլ երկրներում` ավելի լավ, քան ակնկալում էինք»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ`  նշեց դեսպանը:

Պյոտր Սվիտալսկին հավելեց, որ հայ ընտրողն այժմ գիտի, որ այդ տեխնոլոգիաների կիրառմամբ կարող է երաշխիքներ ունենալ, որ իր ձայնը չի գողացվում: ԵՄ պատվիրակության ղեկավարի խոսքով` ընտրական գործընթացի որոշակի խնդիրներ կան, որոնք պետք է լուծել ապագայում: Նա նշեց, որ ԵՄ-ն պատրաստ է աշխատել կառավարության, պետական կառույցների հետ այն բացերը շտկելու ուղղությամբ, որոնք բացահայտվեցին անցած ընտրությունների ժամանակ: «Բոլորն են ընդունում, որ կան խնդիրներ, որ եղել են զարգացումներ, որոնք պետք է տեղի չունենային: Մեզ համար անցնող ընտրությունները ճանապա րհի վերջը չէին, մենք էլ պատրաստ ենք շարունակել մեր աջակցությունը, սակայն ինչ ձևաչափով, ինչպես` դեռ չգիտենք: Համոզված ենք, որ Հայաստանի կառավարությունը շահագրգռված է շարունակել մեզ հետ համագործակցությունը»,- ընդգծեց Սվիտալսկին
Նրա կարծիքով` Ազգային ժողովի անցած ընտրություններից հետո Հայաստանի հասարակությունը, քաղաքական դասը լուրջ մտածելու և քննարկելու նյութ ունի քաղաքական նոր մշակույթ, քաղաքական առաջնորդություն ձևավորելու համար, որպեսզի երկրում քաղաքական գործընթացները նոր ձև ստանան:
