5 հետաքրքիր և տարօրինակ փաստ Ֆրիդա Կալոյի մասին

Ֆրիդա Կալոն աշխարհին հայտնի է իր հեղափոխական ու յուրօրինակ ինքնանկարներով: Բավականին դժվար կյանք ունենալով հանդերձ՝ նրան հաջողվել է սկզբում հայտնի դառնալ Լատինական Ամերիկայում, ապա ամբողջ աշխարհում: Ահա նրա մասին 5 հետաքրքիր փաստ:
1. Ֆրիդա Կալոն ցանկանում էր, որ իր ծննդյան օրը համընկնի Մեքսիկական հեղափոխության օրվա հետ: Նա ծնվել է 1907 թվականի հուլիսի 6-ին, սակայն հեղափոխությունը տեղի է ունեցել 1910-ի հուլիսի 7-ին, ու հենց այդ պատճառով ավելի ուշ նա իր ծննդյան օրը փոխեց:
2. 6 տարեկան հասակում Ֆրիդայի մոտ հանկարծակի սկսեց զարգանալ պոլիոմելիտ հիվանդությունը, ինչի պատճառով նրա աջ ոտքը դարձավ ձախ ոտքից ավելի բարակ: Այն քողարկելու համար նա սովորաբար երկար ու գույնզգույն շրջազգեստներ էր կրում: Դեռ մանուկ հասակում Ֆրիդան որոշեց ձեռնոց նետել իր կարգավիճակին. սկսեց հաճախել բոքսի և այլ սպորտաձևերի, միացավ գանգստերական խմբավորումներից մեկին ու անգամ սիրահարվեց խմբի ղեկավարին: Ավելի ուշ նրա մոտ սովորություն դարձավ մինչ ուշ գիշեր երեկույթներում ժամանակ անցկացնելը, որոնցից մեկի ընթացքում էլ տեկիլա խմելու մրցույթում հաղթեց բազմաթիվ հսկա տղամարդկանց:
3. 1925 թվականի սեպտեմբերի 17-ին, երբ Ֆրիդա Կալոն ու իր ընկերուհի Ալեքսը քաղաքային ավտոբուսի մեջ էին, այն վթարի ենթարկվեց: Ավելի քան 35 ծանր վիրահատություններից հետո բժիշկներն ասացին, որ նա երբեք չի կարող երեխա ունենալ: Հետվիրահատական շրջանում, որը տևեց երեք ամիս, Ֆրիդան ստիպված էր գրեթե անշարժ դիրքով պառկել ու հենց այդ ժամանակ էլ նա սկսեց նկարել. իր անկողնու մոտ դրված հայելու միջոցով ինքնանկարներ էր անում: Այդպես Ֆրիդա Կալոն թողեց բժշկություն սովորելը և սկսեց զբաղվել արվեստով:
4. Շատերը Ֆրիդա Կալոյի աշխատանքները սյուռեալիստական են կոչում, բայց հենց ինքը՝ Ֆրիդան, ասում էր. «Նրանք կարծում են, որ ես սյուռեալիստ նկարիչ եմ, բայց այդպես չէ, քանի որ ես երբեք երազներ ու անիրական բաներ չեմ նկարել, ես նկարել եմ միմիայն իմ իրականությունը»:
5. Ընդհանուր առմամբ Ֆրիդա Կալոն արել է 143 նկար, որոնցից 55-ը ինքնանկարներ են: «Ինքս ինձ շատ եմ նկարում, քանի որ միայն ինձ եմ ամենալավը ճանաչում»,-պատճառաբանում էր Կալոն:
