 Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտությունը ռազմական լուծում չունի և չի կարող ունենալ: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, ռուսական «Ինտերֆաքս» գործակալության հետ հարցազրույցում այս մասին ասել է ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարար Վիգեն Սարգսյանը: «Մենք հույս ունենք, որ սա շատ լավ հասկանում են նաև Ադրբեջանում: Մենք հույս ունենք, որ Բաքվում որոշումներ կայացնելու պատասխանատվություն ունեցող անձինք գիտակցում են, որ շատ հեշտ է քաոսի և լայնամասշտաբ պատերազմի առջև դռներ բացելը, սակայն դա կանգնեցնելը չափազանց բարդ կլինի: Դա միանշանակ կուժեղացնի տարածաշրջանում ահաբեկչական խմբավորումների դերը, կմեծանա նաև ոչ տարածաշրջանային խաղացողների դերը, որոնք կսկսեն օգտվել այդ ամենից»,- ասել է ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարը:

Վիգեն Սարգսյանը նշել է, որ այդ ամենից հետո հակամարտության կարգավորումն անհավանական բարդ է լինելու: «Այս իմաստով ես հույս ունեմ, որ հակամարտող երկրների արտաքին գործերի նախարարները կկարողանան գտնել շփման նոր եզրեր` չնայած հնարավորությունների շրջանակը բավականին սահմանափակ է»,- հավելել է նախարարը:

Նա նկատել է, որ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղը ոչ թե հակամարտություն է, այլ` թեկուզ չճանաչված, բայց երկիր է: Վիգեն Սարգսյանի գնահատմամբ` քանի դեռ այս փաստը լիարժեք ընկալում չի գտել, հակամարտության կարգավորում չի լինի: «Այնտեղ արդեն քառորդ դար դե ֆակտո անկախության պայմաններում մարդիկ ապրում են: Նրանք պատասխանատու են իրենց ընդունած որոշումների համար, նրանք ժողովրդավարական սկզբունքների հիման վրա ձևավորում են իրենց կառավարությունը, ազատ ընտրությունների արդյունքում տեղի է ունենում խորհրդարանի ձևավորումը»,- ասել է Վիգեն Սարգսյանը:  

Նախարարը նաև նշել է, որ ղարաբաղա-ադրբեջանական շփման գծում հրադադարի ռեժիմի ցանկացած խախտում կողմերի ստանձնած միջազգային պարտավորությունների խախտում է` ընդգծելով, որ այդ պարտավորություններից ցանկացած հետքայլ կարող է հանգեցնել լուրջ լարվածության: «Մենք կողմնակից ենք շփման գծում հետաքննության մեխանիզմների ներդրման և վերահսկողության հաստատման: Այդպիսի պայմանավորվածություններ ձեռք են բերվել Վիեննայում (2016թ. մայիսի 16-ին) ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի միջնորդությամբ և Սանկտ Պետերբուրգում (2016թ. հունիսի 20-ին) Ռուսաստանի նախագահի միջնորդությամբ կ այացած հանդիպումների ընթացքում: Բայց, ցավոք, Ադրբեջանը հերթական անգամ հրաժարվում է իր ստանձնած պարտավորություններից, և դա շատ բացասական հետք է թողնում հակամարտության լուծման ուղիներ որոնելու գործընթացի վրա: Յուրաքանչյուր կողմ ինքն է կատարում իր ընտրությունը: Բայց մենք կարծում ենք, որ այն իրավիճակը, որը գոյություն ունի այսօր, միանշանակ հակամարտության կարգավորման համար հեռանկարներ չի ստեղծում»,- եզրափակել է նախարարը:
