Հայաստան-Ադրբեջան սահմանին և Արցախ-Ադրբեջան շփման գծում իրավիճակը հանգիստ է՝ ադրբեջանական կողմի նախորդ օրվա ակտիվացումներից հետո: ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարի մամուլի քարտուղար Արծրուն Հովհաննիսյանը նշեց, որ հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանին այս պահին ամեն ինչ հանգիստ է:
Անդրադառնալով այն հարցին, թե ինչ կարելի է սպասել ադրբեջանական կողմից Հաղթանակի, Շուշիի ազատագրման օրվան ընդառաջ, Հովհաննիսյանը նշեց, որ հաշվի առնելով ադրբեջանական կողմի տրամաբանությունն ու գործելակերպը` ամեն ինչ հնարավոր է. «Սակայն մեր զինված ուժերը գտնվում են բարձր մարտական պատրաստվածության վիճակում»:
Արցախի Հանրապետության նախագահի մամուլի քարտուղար Դավիթ Բաբայանի խոսքով` արցախա-ադրբեջանական շփման գծում իրավիճակը վերահսկելի է, և Արցախի Հանրապետության պաշտպանության բանակն ամբողջությամբ կատարում է իր առջև դրված խնդիրները և պահպանում երկրի անվտանգությունը:
«Ադրբեջանն այս օրերին ավելի ընդգծված ապակառուցողական քաղաքականություն է վարում և պարտադիր չէ դրանք միայն սահմանին զինադադարի խախտումներով լինեն, այլ` այսպես կոչված լրտեսային սկանդալի միջոցով, որն իրականության հետ ոչ մի կապ չունի»,- ասաց Բաբայանը` հավելելով, որ նման դրսևորումը պայմանավորված է Ադրբեջանի ներքին քաղաքական խնդիրներով: «Որպեսզի միջազգային հանրությունը չդիտարկի դրանք որպես մարդու իրավունքների ճնշում` Ադրբեջանը պարզապես հայկական թշնամական երանգ է փորձում հաղորդել այդ ամենին: Այն պատեհ առիթ է եռատոնի օրերին նման քաղաքականություն վարելու համար, որպեսզի բնակչության և միջազգային հանրության ուշադրությունը շեղի»,- նշեց նա` մանրամասնելով, որ դրանք ընդամենն ալիևյան կլանի՝ իշխանությունը պահպանելու փորձված մեխանիզմներ են, որն Ադրբեջանը միշտ օգտագործում է:
Բաբայանը նաև հավելեց, որ ամեն ինչ անելու են, որպեսզի վաղվա տոնական միջոցառումներն իրականացնեն: Նրա խոսքով` բանակի մարտունակությունը բերվել է բարձր պատրաստվածության աստիճանի և ամեն ինչ անելու են, որպեսզի պաշտպանեն երկրի խաղաղությունը և կայունությունը:
