Արդեն 25 տարի է, ինչ մայիսի 9-ը հայերիս համար եռատոն է համարվում: Նախորդ դարի 1945թ-ին Հայրենական մեծ պատերազմում տարած խորհրդային ժողովուրդների, այդ թվում` հայերի հաղթանակին գումարվեց 1992թ.-ին Արցախի բերդաքաղաք Շուշիի ազատագրման հաղթանակը, որին էլ հաջորդեց Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի պաշտպանական բանակի ստեղծումը:
 
Տոնական օրվա շրջանակներում Life.panorama.am-ը խոսել է դերասան, ազատամարտիկ Արտաշես Ալեքսանյանի հետ:
«Շնորհավորում եմ ողջ հայ ազգին մեր մայիսյան հաղթանակների կապակցությամբ: Հույսով եմ` մեր հաղթանակներից ճիշտ դասեր ենք քաղել, կարողացել ենք թացը չորից տարբերակել: Ցանկանում եմ, որ հայ ժողովուրդն իրենից ծնված զավակին միշտ ազգի զինվոր դարձնի, որովհետեւ բոլորս էլ գիտենք, որ մեր աշխարհաքաղաքական դիրքից ելնելով` շրջապատված ենք բորենիներով: Պետք է միշտ զգոն լինենք ու երբեք չմտածենք, որ կարող ենք հանգիստ քուն ունենալ այս շրջափակման մեջ: Իսկապես մենք չորս կողմից շրջապատված ենք, կարծես թե այդ մուսուլմանական աշխարհի կոկորդին կանգնած ոսկոր լինենք, բոլորը փորձում են կուլ, տալ, ջարդել, փշրել կոկորդները բացելու համար, բայց Աստված դա չի կամենում, քանի որ այս հողն ի վերուստ հայերի համար էր նախատեսված: Այսօր եւ առհասարակ մեր ժողովդրին մաղթում եմ արիություն, քաջություն, առողջություն եւ խաղաղություն: Մեր մայրերին ուզում եմ շնորհակալությունս հայտնել, ովքեր այս ազգի համար զինվորներ, առյուծներ են ծնում: Թող որ նրանք մեր զինվորների սերունդները շարունակական դարձնեն, ինչու ոչ` նաեւ մայրամներ պարգեւեն մեզ, որպեսզի նրանք էլ շարունակաբար հազար կորյուններով լցնեն Հայաստան աշխարհը»,- նշեց արտիստը:
 
Խոսելով 25 տարի առաջ Արցախում Շուշիի ազատագրումը տոնելու իր հիշողություններից, մեր զրուցակիցը պատմեց.
«Այդ օրերին մենք Խոջալուի կողմն էինք, բայց բարի լուրը լսելուց հետո, ուղղակի չեմ կարողանա նկարագրել զգացողություններս: Դա նման էր այն ապրումներին, երբ առաջին անգամ երեխա, ավելի կոնկրետ տղա ես ունենում: Այս ժամանակ ամեն ինչ խառնվում է իրար` մի տեսակ չես հավատում լսածիդ, ուրախություն, հուզմունք, հպարտություն ես զգում, սիրտդ ասես ներսիցդ ճաքի, եւ չգիտես ինչպես այդ ամենը արտահայտես: Իսկ ավելի ուշ` առաջին ապրումներից հետո, Փառք տվեցինք Ատսծուն ու մասնակցեցինք մոմավառությանը»:
