Թրամփը Քոմիին ազատեց ՀՀԲ-ի տնօրենի պաշտոնից

ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը Հետաքննությունների համապետական բյուրոյի (ՀՀԲ) տնօրեն Ջեյմս Քոմիին ազատել Է իր պարտականությունների կատարումից: Այս մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, ասված Է Սպիտակ տան մամուլի ծառայության տարածած հայտարարության մեջ:  
«ՀՀԲ-ն մեր երկրի ամենահարգված ինստիտուտներից մեկն Է, եւ այս օրը մեր իրավապահ մարմինների հպարտության առարկայի համար նշանավորում Է նոր սկիզբ»,- մեջբերում Է անում Սպիտակ տունը Թրամփի խոսքից: Ուղերձում, որը Քոմիին Է հանձնել սուրհանդակը, ընդգծված Է, որ պաշտոնից նրա ազատումն «ուժի մեջ Է մտնում անմիջապես», իսկ ազատման պատճառն այն Է, որ նա «չի կարողացել արդյունավետ կերպով ղեկավարել ՀՀԲ-ն»:     
Նախագահը ՀՀԲ-ի տնօրենին ծանուցում Է, որ ԱՄՆ-ի արդարադատության նախարարից եւ առաջին փոխնախարարից ստացել Է առանձին դիմումներ միեւնույն հանձնարարականով՝ պաշտոնաթող անել Քոմիին: «Ես ընդունեցի նրանց հանձնարարականը, եւ դուք սույնով զրկվում եք լիազորություններից եւ ազատվում եք պաշտոնից»,- հայտնում Է Թրամփը՝ հավելելով, որ որոշումն «ուժի մեջ Է մտնում անմիջապես»: 
Քոմին ՀՀԲ-ի տնօրենի պաշտոնն զբաղեցրել Է չորս տարուց  պակաս: Նա Բյուրոյի ղեկավար Է նշանակվել 2013 թվականի հունիսին ԱՄՆ-ի նախկին նախագահ Բարաք Օբամայի կողմից: 2013 թվականի հուլիսին Սենատը նրան հաստատել Է այդ պաշտոնում:
Նրա օրոք Է բացահայտվել դեմոկրատներից նախագահի թեկնածու Հիլարի Քլինթոնի կողմից ծառայական նամակագրության կանոնների խախտումների գործը: Ավելի ուշ Քլինըոնը Քոմիին մեղադրել Է, որ հենց այդ հետաքննությունն Է դարձել ընտրություններում իր պարտության պատճառը: ՀՀԲ-ի տնօրենի պաշտոնում Քոմին նաեւ ղեկավարել Է Ռուսաստանի հետ Դոնալդ Թրամփի նախընտրական շտաբի աշխատակիցների ենթադրյալ կապերի հետաքննությունը, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
