Երևանի ավագանու այս ընտրությունները նախորդներից թերևս տարբերվում են նաև նրանով, որ ընդդիմադիր թեկնածուները փորձում են հնարավորինս կրեատիվ գտնվել, ինչի արդյունավետությունը որոշ դեպքերում այդքան էլ միանշանակ չէ: Կրեատիվության այս մրցավազքում ականատես ենք դառնում նրան, որ "Երկիր Ծիրանին" քարոզչությունը սկսում է Էրեբունի թանգարանում, հետո՝ հասնում Անիի ավերակներ: Իսկ "Ելքը" խնդիր է դրել ընտրակաշառնքերի դեմ պայքարելը՝ հաղթելու դեպքում պարտավորվելով տալ օրինական խրախուսում, ինչն, անկախ ձևակերպումից, իր բնույթով շատերի կողմից ընտրակաշառք է ընկալվում:
Հարց է առաջանում՝ կրեատիվ քայլերը ձեռնարկելուց առաջ հաշվարկներ արվում ե՞ն, թե դրանց արդյունքում իրենց կողմ գրաված քաղաքացիների թիվն է ավելի մեծ, թե վանվածների: Բոլոր չընկալվող քայլերը հանգեցնում են քաղաքական ապատիայի, իսկ դա կբերի նրան, որ շատ պոտենցիալ ընդդիմադիր քվեարկողներ ուղղակի չեն գնա քվեարկության:
Ինչ վերաբերվում է Հանրապետականին, տպավորություն է ստեղծվում, որ իշխող ուժ լինելու հանգամանքը նրան ազատել է կրեատիվ գտնվելու խնդրից, իսկ քարոզչությունն ընթանում է հին ու արդեն "ավանդական" դարձած ձևով և կերպարներով... դա, բնականաբար, հոգնեցնող է, բայց միևնույն ժամանակ քաղաքացու համար սովորական...
