Շվեյցարիայում փորձարկել են արեւային մարտկոցներով աշխատող առաջին օդանավը

Շվեյցարական SolarStratos ընկերությունը փորձարկել է արեւային մարտկոցներով օդ բարձրացող օդանավի նախատիպը, հայտնում է The Engineer–ը։ Օդանավի առաջին թռիչքը տեւել է յոթ րոպե՝ 300 մ բարձրության վրա։
Արեւային մարտկոցներով Elektra-2 օդանավը մշակվել է հատուկ ստրատոսֆերայում թռիչքների համար։ «Ժամանակակից տեխնոլոգիաների օգնությամբ կարելի է հրաժարվել հանածո վառելիքի գործածումից։ Մեր օդանավը, որը կարող է թռչել մինչեւ 25 կմ բարձրության վրա, բացում է պատուհան դեպի արեւային ու էլեկտրական ավիացիա»,- ասել է փորձարկող օդաչու Ռաֆայել Դոմիանը։
Մշակողները հույս ունեն, որ իրենց Elektra-2 օդանավը կդառնա աշխարհի առաջին մշակումը, որն ունակ է մինչեւ 100 կգ բեռ բարձրացնել 20 կմ բարձրության վրա։ Ընդ որում նման բարձրության վրա գտնվելով, 420 կիլոգրամանոց օդանավը կկարողանա դժվար հասանելի տարածքներում ինտերնետի համա ազդանշանի աղբյուր դառնալ։ Ավելին, ստրատոսֆերային օդանավերի առաջին փորձարկումների մեկնարկը հնարավորություններ է բացում արեւային ավիացիայում կոմերցիոն թռիչքների զարգացման համար։
