ՀՀ գլխավոր հյուպատոսության, հայ համայնքային կառույցների և ներկայացուցիչների կողմից Բաթումի Սուրբ Փրկիչ եկեղեցու բակում տեղադրված խաչքարի մոտ տեղի է ունեցել ծաղիկների խոնարհման արարողություն՝ ի հիշատակ Հայրենական մեծ պատերազմում և 1992 թ. Շուշիի ազատագրման մարտերում զոհված մարտիկների: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի, տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից:
Այնուհետև, Ալեքսանդր Մանթաշյանի անվան հայկական կրթամշակութային կենտրոնում անցկացվել է միջոցառում՝ նվիրված Հաղթանակի օրվան, Շուշիի ազատագրման և Արցախի պաշտպանության բանակի կազմավորման 25-ամյակին: Ելույթներ են ունեցել Բաթումում ՀՀ գլխավոր հյուպատոս Եղիշե Սարգսյանը, Աջարիայի հայերի միության նախագահ Գրիգոր Վարդանյանը, Վրաստանի ՀՕՄ Բաթումի մասնաճյուղի համակարգող Էթերի Հակոբյանը:
Հայրենասիրական բանաստեղծությունների ասմունքով հանդես են եկել Մանթաշյանի անվան կրթամշակութային կենտրոնի սաները:
Ցուցադրվել են վավերագրական ֆիլմեր Շուշիի ազատագրման և Հայրենական մեծ պատերազմի մասին: Միջոցառումների ավարտին ՀՀ գլխավոր հյուպատոսության կողմից ներկաների համար կազմակերպվել է ընդունելություն:
Մայիսի 8-ին ՀՀ գլխավոր հյուպատոսը և աջարահայ համայնքային կառույցների ղեկավարներն այցելել էին Հայրենական մեծ պատերազմի բաթումցի վետերաններին և նրանց հանձնել նվերներ:
