 Երևանի ավագանու ընտրությունների նախընտրական քարոզարշավն ավարտվեց. մայիսի 13-ը լռության օր է, իսկ մայիսի 14-ին կկայանա Երևանի ավագանու ընտրությունների քվեարկությունը:

Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, Երևանի ավագանու ընտրություններին մասնակցելու համար առաջադրվել է երեք քաղաքական ուժ՝ Հայաստանի Հանրապետական կուսակցությունը, «Երկիր Ծիրանի» կուսակցությունը և «Ելք» կուսակցությունների դաշինքը: Հայաստանի Հանրապետական կուսակցության քաղաքապետի թեկնածուն Երևանի գործող քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանն է, «Երկիր Ծիրանի» կուսակցույթյան թեկնածուն Զարուհի Փոստանջյանը, իսկ «Ելք» դաշինքն առաջադրել է Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի թեկնածությունը:

Երևանի ավագանու ընտրությունները լուսաբանելու համար Կենտրոնական ընտրական հանձնաժողովում հավատարմագրվել են տեղական 32, միջազգային երեք լրատվամիջոցներ: Մայիսի 14-ին կայանալիք Երևանի ավագանու ընտրությունները լուսաբանելու համար հավատարմագրված միջազգային լրատվամիջոցներն են` «Արևելք»-ը, T24 օրաթերթը, «Կավկազսկիյ ուզել»-ը:

Երևանի ավագանու ընտրությունների նկատմամբ տեղական լրատվամիջոցների հետաքրքրությունը բավականին մեծ է: Տեղական լրատվամիջոցներից ընտրությունները լուսաբանելու համար ամենաշատ ներկայացուցիչներ հավատարմագրել է «Ազատություն» ռադիոկայանը` 40 ներկայացուցիչ: Հայաստանի Հանրային հեռուստաընկերությունը հավատարմագրել է 35 ներկայացուցիչ, «Շանթ» հեռուստաընկերությունը` 23, Armrus.info կայքը` 37, «Հայկական ժամանակ» օրաթերթը` 24 ներկայացուցիչ: Ընդհանուր առմամբ Երևանի ավագանու ընտրությունները լուսաբանելու համար ԿԸՀ-ում հավատարմագրվել ն ԶԼՄ 436 ներկայացուցիչ:

Ընտրությունները դիտարկելու համար ԿԸՀ-ում հավատարմագրվել են դիտորդական առաքելություն իրականացնող տեղական 17 կազմակերպություն: Ընդհանուր առմամբ Երևանի ավագանու ընտրությունները կդիտարկեն 5138 դիտորդ: Երևանի ավագանու ընտրությունների նկատմամբ այնքան էլ մեծ չէ միջազգային դիտորդական կազմակերպությունների հետաքրքրությունը: Ընտրությունները լուսաբանելու համար ԿԸՀ-ում հավատարմագրվել է ընդամենը մեկ միջազգային դիտորդական կազմակերպություն` Եվրոպայի խորհրդի տեղական և տարածքային իշխանությունների կոնգրեսը:

Երևանի ավագանու ընտրություններին ընդառաջ Կենտրոնական ընտրական հանձնաժողովը ձևավորել է տեղամասային կենտրոնները ու ներկայացրել դրանց տեղակայման վայրերը: Երևանում ձևավորվել է 10 տարածքային ընտրական հանձնաժողով: Առաջին տարածքային ընտրական հանձնաժողովը ներառում է Ավան վարչական շրջանը, երկրորդը՝ Նոր Նորք վարչական շրջանը, երրորդը՝ Քանաքեռ-Զեյթուն վարչական շրջանը, չորրորդը՝ Արաբկիր վարչական շրջանը, հինգերորդը՝ Դավթաշեն վարչական շրջանը, վեցերորդը՝ Աջափնյակ վարչական շրջանը, յոթերորդը՝ Մալաթիա-Սեբաստիա վարչական շրջանը, ութերորդը՝ Շ ենգավիթ վարչական շրջանը, իններորդը՝ Նորք-Մարաշ և Կենտրոն վարչական շրջանները,  տասներորդը՝ Էրեբունի և Նուբարաշեն վարչական շրջանները: Ընդհանուր առմամբ Երևանում կգործի 474 ընտրական տեղամաս:
