Արյան պարզ անալիզով հնարավոր է պարզել կնոջ մոտ կաթվածի առաջացման հավանականությունը. միկրոգլոբուլին բետա-2 սպիտակուցի բարձր մակարդակ ունեցող կանայք ավելի հաճախ են բախվում կաթվածին, քան նրանք, ում մոտ այս սպիտակուցի մակարդակը ցածր է: Այս մասին հայտնել են Հարվարդի բժշկական դպրոցի գիտնականները:
Նրանց կատարած հետազոտությամբ պարզվել է, որ այս սպիտակուցի բարձր ցուցանիշը վկայում է, որ կնոջ մոտ կաթվածի հավանականությունը 56 տոկոսով բարձր է նրանց համեմատությամբ, ում արյան մեջ սպիտակուցի նվազագույն քանակ է դիտվում:
Կաթվածի հետեւանքով տարեկան հարյուր հազարավոր մարդ է մահանում, նույնքան մարդ էլ դրա պատճառով հաշմանդամ է դառնում: Գիտնականների խոսքով՝ հատկապես այս պատճառով շատ կարեւոր է, որ բժիշկները կաթվածի կանխարգելման գործունակ գործիք ունենան:
Հետազոտողները վերլուծել են 473 կանանց արյան անալիզները, որոնք 9 տարվա ընթացքում իշեմիկ կաթված են տարել, նաեւ նույն տարիքի կանանց նույնքան անալիզները, որոնք կաթված չեն ստացել: Հետազոտության ընթացքում գիտնականները հաշվի են առել կաթվածի առաջացման հավանականության նաեւ այլ գործոններ՝ ծխելը եւ հորմոնալ դեղամիջոցների օգտագործումը:
Հետազոտությամբ պարզվել է, որ նախկինում կաթված տարած կանանց արյան մեջ միկրոգլոբուլին բետա-2 սպիտակուցի մակարդակը լիտրին 1,86 մգ է եղել ընդդեմ այն կանանց 1,80 ցուցանիշի, որոնք կաթվածի չեն բախվել:
Նշենք, որ այս հետազոտությունն անցկացվել է բացառապես կանանց շրջանում, այդ պատճառով դեռեւս տեղեկություններ չկան՝ այս սպիտակուցի ցուցանիշներն ազդո՞ւմ են տղամարդկանց շրջանում կաթվածի առաջացման հավանականության վրա:
