Գյումրու Սայաթ-Նովա փողոցը մարդաշատ է, անցորդները՝ խնամքով հագնված, տրամադրությունը՝ տոնական, ձեռքներին՝ տոմսեր. Հայաստանի ամենաթատերասեր քաղաքում պրեմիերա է՝ Հակոբ Պարոնյանի «Շողոքորթն» չորս տասնամյակի ընդմիջումից հետո վերադարձել է Դրամատիկական թատրոնի խաղացանկ։
Արտասովոր ոչ մի բան, այսպես միշտ է եղել. Գյումրին թատերական տոնի է վերածել բոլոր առաջնախաղերը: Մինչև մայիսի 13-ը Դրամատիականի տոմսարկղը հասցրեց, անգամ, թատերական սկանդալի կիզակետում հայտնվել. պահանջարկը մեծ էր, առաջարկը` քիչ։ Պրեմիերայի երկու օրերի տոմսերն սպառվել էին օրեր առաջ. գլխավոր հերոսն էր զգուշացրել՝ «չգաք նե՝ գեշ կնեղենամ», հանդիսատեսը որոշել էր չնեղացնել:
Առաջնախաղի տոմսերից 100-ը ՀՀ մշակույթի նախարարության աշխատակիցներն էին գնել: Նախարար Արմեն Ամիրյանի ուղեկցությամբ նրանք Գյումրիում էին՝ հանդիսականի շարքերում:
Սա ոչ միայն լավագույն օրինակ է, այլև անհրաժեշտ մշակույթ՝ մեր մշակութային կյանքում. Հայաստանը մեկն է ու փոքր, առանձնացել այս քաղաքի թատրոնը մյուսներից, կամ այստեղ ստեղծված մշակույթը մի քանի կիլոմետր հեռու ստեղծվածից՝ սխալ է: Կա հայկական ու Հայաստանի մշակույթ, որը ճանաչել ու որի զարգացմանը նպաստելը յուրաքանչյուրիս պարտքն է: Նախարար Ամիրյանի տեսակետին համաձայն են նաև Գյումրու Դրամատիկականի ղեկավարները. շնչող օրգանիզմ թատրոնը պետք է և կարող են դարձնել մշակույթների խաչմերուկ՝ բաց համագործակցությամբ ու փոխադարձ այցելություններով:
Վիգեն Չալդրանյանը, Արմեն Էլբակյանը, Միքայել Պողոսյանը, Հրաչ Քեշիշյանը, Ռուբեն Բաբայանը, Արթուր Ղուկասյանը, Դավիթ Մուրադյանը, Բաբկեն Չոբանյանը, Մկրտիչ Արզումանյանը և մշակույթի, շոու-բիզնեսի տասնյակ այլ ներկայացուցիչներ նույնպես Գյումրիում էին: Հանդիսատեսի շարքերում էին նաև Շիրակի մարզպետը, Գյումրու քաղաքապետն ու Միքայել Եպիսկոպոս Աջապահյանը:
