Ֆրանսիայի բնակիչների մոտավորապես մեկ երրորդը՝ 32 տոկոսն Է հավանություն տալիս հանրապետության վարչապետի պաշտոնում «Հանրապետականներ» կուսակցության ներկայացուցիչ Էդուար Ֆիլիպին նշանակելուն: Այդ մասին վկայում են հասարակական կարծիքի հարցման՝ մայիսի 16-ին հրապարակված արդյունքները, հարցում, որը Harris Interactive ծառայությունն անցկացրել Է Atlantico ինտերնետ-պորտալի համար:
 
Եթե միայն 32 տոկոսն Է կարծում, որ Ֆիլիպի նշանակումը «լավ իրադարձություն Է», ապա հարցվածների 11 տոկոսը վստահ Է, որ դա «երկրի համար վատ իրադարձություն Է»: Ընդ որում դժվարացել Է իր կարծիքը հայտնել հարցվածների մեծամասնությունը՝ 57 տոկոսը:
 
Ֆրանսիացիների մեծամասնությունը վստահ Է, որ Էդուար Ֆիլիպի նշանակումը «օգտակար կլինի» «Հառաջ» շարժման համար, 42 տոկոսը չի կասկածում, որ քաղաքական այդ քայլը կթուլացնի Ֆրանսիայի սոցիալիստական կուսակցությանը: Ընդ որում հարցման մասնակիցների 38 տոկոսը կարծիք Է հայտնել, որ «Հանրապետականներ» կուսակցությունը ներկայացնող Ֆիլիպին նոր վարչապետ նշանակելը կթուլացնի հենց այդ կազմակերպությանը: Նաեւ ֆրանսիացիների 32 տոկոսը կարծում Է, որ այդ քայլը կթուլացնի «Ազգային ճակատի» դիրքերը, իսկ 30 տոկոսի կարծիքով՝ «Ըմբոստ Ֆրանսիա&raq uo; ձախ կուսակցությանը: 
 
Հարցումն անցկացվել Է մայիսի 15-ին այն բանից հետո, երբ հայտարարվեց վարչապետի պաշտոնում Էդուար Ֆիլիպի նշանակման մասին: Հարցերին պատասխանել Է 18-ից բարձր տարիքի 1011 մարդ, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
