 Հռոմի քաղաքագլուխ Ինյացիո Մարինոն հոկտեմբերի 8-ի երեկոյան պաշտոնաթող է եղել, տեղեկացնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով askanews գործակալությանը:

Իր որոշումը Հռոմի քաղաքապետն ընդունել է վերջին օրերին Ապենիններում ծավալված սկանդալի ֆոնին, որը կապված է Մարինոյի ծախսերի հետ, որոնք նա թաքցնում էր մունիցիպալիտետի վարկային քարտի օգնությամբ:

Սկզբում Հռոմի քաղաքագլխի պաշտոնաթողության մասին սկսեցին խոսել երկրի ընդդիմադիր ուժերի ներկայացուցիչները, սակայն հինգշաբթի Մարինոյին պաշտոնաթող լինելու կոչով դիմեցին նաեւ նրա կուսակիցները:

«Ես պաշտոնաթող եմ լինում: Հռոմի թանկագին բնակիչներ, ես երկար եմ մտածել նախքան այս որոշումն ընդունելը: Եվ դա անում եմ միայն հանուն քաղաքի շահերի»,- ասել է Մարինոն:

Հոկտեմբերի 6-ին Հռոմի դատախազությունը այն փաստերի ստուգում է սկսել, որոնք շարադրված էին երկրի ընդդիմադիր ուժերի՝ «Հինգ աստղի շարժման» եւ «Իտալիայի եղբայրների» ներկայացուցիչների դիմումում եւ վերաբերվում էին քաղաքագլխի կողմից կատարված ծախսերին:

Պարզվել է, որ Մարինոն օգտվել է ոչ թե իր անձնական վարկային քարտից, այլ քաղաքապետարանին պատկանող քարտից: Կրակի վրա յուղ է ավելացրել նաեւ այն, որ Հռոմի քաղաքապետն ընտանիքի հետ արձակուրդն անցկացնելու  է ուղեւորվել ԱՄՆ, ինչը հարուցել է հասարակության դժգոհությունը:

Դրան ի պատասխան Մարինոն, որը Հռոմի քաղաքապետարանը գլխավորել է 2013 թվականին, հայտարարել է, թե կփոխհատուցի մունիցիպալիտետի քարտով վճարված 20 հազար եվրոյի չափով բոլոր ծախսերը, բայց նաեւ հավելել Է, որ մտադիր չէ դրա պատճառով պաշտոնաթող լինել, հաղորդել Է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին:
