Վաշինգտոնը դատապարտել է Ադրբեջանում ընդդիմադիր ԶԼՄ-ների կայքերի արգելափակումը

ԱՄՆ Հելսինկյան հանձնաժողովի ղեկավար Ռոջեր Ուիքերն անդրադարձել է Ադրբեջանում դատարանի վճռով մի շարք ընդդիմադիր ԶԼՄ-ների կայքերի արգելափակմանը: Այս մասին հայտնում է ադրբեջանական azadliq.info լրատվական գործակալությունը:
Սենատոր Ուիքերը խորը մտահոգություն է հայտնել մայիսի 12-ին դատարանի վճռով՝ «Ազատություն» ռադիոկայանի ադրբեջանական ծառայության, «Ազատություն» թերթի, «Թուրան» հեռուստաալիքի, «Ադրբեջանի ժամանակ» հեռուստահաղորդման և «Meydan tv»-ի ինտերնետային կայքերի արգելափակման վերաբերյալ:
«Այս ամենը լուրջ մտահոգության առիթ է տալիս և մենք պետք է այս հարցի վերաբերյալ ամենաբարձր մակարդակով խոսենք Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարության հետ»,- ասել է սենատորը:
Ֆրանսիան, մայիսի 16-ին դատապարտելով այս ամենը` Ադրբեջանի կառավարությանը կոչ էր արել հավատարիմ մնալ միջազգային պարտավորություններին, հարգանք ցուցաբերել տեղեկատվության և մամուլի ազատության նկատմամբ:
Մայիսի 13-ին Ադրբեջանում արգելք է դրվել «WhatsApp»-ի միջոցով կապի հնարավորություններին:
2016-ի տվյալներով Ադրբեջանը համարվում է լրագրողների նկատմամբ աշխարհում ամենաշատ գրաքննություն իրականացնող երկրներից մեկը՝ զբաղեցնելով 5-րդ տեղը աշխարհի ամենագրաքննվող տասը երկրների շարքում:
Ադրբեջանի ներկայիս իշխանությունները հետևողականորեն լռեցնում են երկրում չնչին կենսունակություն ցուցաբերող անկախ մամուլի ձայնը, այդպիսով փորձելով բնակչությանը զրկել իրական տեղեկատվություն ստանալու հնարավորությունից:
