 Ազգային ժողովի ՀՀԿ խմբակցության պատգամավոր Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը ողջունում է Ադրբեջանի ապակառուցողական գործողությունները հստակ դատապարտող ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի հայտարարությունը, սակայն գտնում է, որ համանախագահները չպետք է սահմանափակվեն միայն հայտարարություններով: «Բնականաբար դրական և բարձր եմ գնահատում այդ հայտարարությունը, որովհետև մեր շարունակական կոչերն արձագանք գտան: Մենք շարունակ ասում ենք, որ միջնորդները պետք է հասցեական գնահատականներ տան և սա եզակի հասցեական գնահատականներից մեկն էր, որն ուղղակի ճնշում է Ադրբեջանի ապակառուցողական մոտեցումներին: Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահներն այս հայտարարությամբ հստակ մատնանշում են, թե որ կողմն է ապակայունացնող և լարվածություն առաջացնող էլեմենտը տարածաշրջանում, սակայն կարծում եմ, որ միայն հայտարարություններով սահմանափակվելը բավարար չէ»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում ասաց Շարմազանովը:

Նա հույս հայտնեց, որ երեք համանախագահ երկրները, որոնք նաև ՄԱԿ-ի անվտանգության խորհրդի մշտական անդամներ են, լուրջ ճնշման  կենթարկեն Ադրբեջանի ապակառուցողական քաղաքականությունը: «Սա նաև հայկական դիվանագիտության ճիշտ աշխատանքի արդյունք է: Ես համոզված եմ, որ միայն հայտարարություններով պետք չէ սահմանափակվել: Եթե մենք սահմանափակվենք միայն հայտարարություններով և որևէ պատժամիջոց չկիրառենք, ապա սա կարող է մնալ ընդամենը օդում հայտարարություն: Դրա համար ես կարծում եմ, որ եթե Ադրբեջանը շարունակի նման լկտի պահվածքը, համանախագահները պետք է կիրառեն նաև հստակ պատժիչ մեխանիզմներ»,-ընդգծեց Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը:

Նրա խոսքով՝ ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահների համբերության բաժակը լցվել էր և այլևս ճկունության և բալանս պահելու ոչ տեղ կար, ոչ էլ ժամանակ, դրա համար էլ նրանք հասցեական հայտարարությամբ հանդես եկան և մատնանշեցին, թե որ կողմն է խախտում հրադադարը և ով է լարվածություն առաջացնում շփման գծում:
