«Մեծամոր» պատմահնագիտական արգելոց-թանգարանում տեղի է ունեցել «Եվգենի Բայբուրդյանը և Շենգավիթյան մշակույթը» թեմայով հանդիպում- զրույց, որը վարել է ԳԱԱ Հնագիտության և ազգագրության ինստիտուտի վաղ հնագիտության բաժնի վարիչ, պատմական գիտությունների դոկտոր Ռուբեն Բադալյանը։ Հանդիպումն անցկացվել է «Մեծամորյան ընթերցումներ» գիտակրթական ծրագրի շրջանակներում, որի նպատակը ոչ միայն հնագիտության բնաÕ �ավառում գիտական նվաճումները հանրահռչակելն է, այլև հայ հնագետների, հնամարդաբանների, ոլորտի մյուս մասնագետների գիտական գործունեությունը, ձեռքբերումները երիտասարդ հնագետներին, ուսանողներին ներկայացնելը։ Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին «Մեծամոր» պատմահնագիտական արգելոց-թանգարանից:

Հանդիպմանը ներկա են եղել «Պահպանության ծառայություն» ՊՈԱԿ-ի տնօրեն Արա Թարվերդյանը, տնօրենի՝ գիտական աշխատանքների գծով տեղակալ Կարեն Փահլեվանյանը, տնօրենի՝ ֆոնդերի գծով տեղակալ Լիաննա Գևորգյանը, ՊՈԱԿ-ի աշխատակիցներ, ուսանողներ։

Մինչև հանդիպում-զրույցը` ՊՈԱԿ-ի տնօրենը և տեղակալները շրջել են «Մեծամոր» պատմահնագիտական արգելոց-թանգարանում: Մասնաճյուղի վարիչ Արտավազդ Զաքյանը ծանոթացրել է մշտական ցուցադրությունում տեղ գտած 50 տարվա հնագիտական հավաքածուին, այդ թվում վերջին տարիների պեղումների արդյունքում հայտնաբերված առարկաներին, անդրադարձել դրանց առանձնահատկությանը, հնագիտական ու պատմական նշանակությանը։

Ապա`պատմական գիտությունների դոկտոր Ռուբեն Բադալյանը, լուսապատկերային ցուցադրությամբ, ներկայացրել է հայ հնագետ-արևելագետ, կովկասագետ, հայագետ Եվգենի Բայբուրդյանի բեղուն գործունեությունը։ Ըստ Բադալյանի` Բայբուրդյանն իսկապես առաջինն էր, ով ամբողջացրեց տարիներ շարունակ կուտակված և չհրատարակված հնագիտական հսկայական նյութը՝ նեոլիթից մինչև գունազարդ խեցեղենի հանդես գալը։

Կուր-Արաքսյան կամ, ինչպես հետագայում կոչել է Բայբուրդյանը, Շենգավիթյան մշակույթը անբաժան է եղել հայ գիտնականի գործունեությունից։ Ցավոք, հանրությանը քիչ բան է հայտնի նրա հնագիտական ուսումնասիրություններից և մինչև այժմ եղած տեղեկությունները գրեթե ոչինիչ են 1930-ականներին Շենգավիթյան մշակույթի ուսումնասիրման գործում նրա ունեցած կարևոր դերակատարման համեմատ։ Բադալյանը ցավով նշել է, որ Բայբուրդյանի  դաշտային աշխատանքները շատ ավելին են եղել, քան այդ մասին հրատարակվել է։      

1939 թվականին Բորիս Պիոտրովսկու և Իգոր Դիակոնովի ղեկավարությամբ Բայբուրդյանը մասնակցել է Կարմիր բլուրի պեղումներին։ Այնուհետև ենթարկվել   է հալածանքների և շուտով ձերբակալվել, ապա հավանաբար գնդակահարվել։

Ռուբեն Բադալյանը հայ հնագետի անգնահատելի ուսումնասիրության մասին հանդիպում-զրույցն ավարտել է Կուր-Արաքսյան կամ Շենգավիթյան մշակույթի ուսումնասիրման վերջին 80 տարիների պատմության ամփոփմաբ։

Ապա ներկաները Ռուբեն Բադալյանին ուղղեցին հարցեր, որոնք վերաբերում էին ոչ միայն Բայբուրդյանի գործունեությանը, այլև ընդհանրապես Շենգավիթյան մշակույթի տարբեր դրսևորումներին։

Հանդիպման ավարտին ներկաները դիտել են «Մեծամոր» փաստավավերագրական ֆիլմը։
