  «Ավրորա» մրցանակի առաջին դափնեկիր Մարգարիտ Բարանկիցեն մայիսի 20-ին այցելեց Ծիծեռնակաբերդի հուշահամալիր՝ հարգանքի տուրք մատուցելու Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակին։ «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` Մարգարիտ Բարանկիցեին դիմավորեց Հայոց ցեղասպանության թանգարան-ինստիտուտի տնօրեն Հայկ Դեմոյանը, ով ներկայացր եց Հայոց ցեղասպանության և հուշահամալիրի ստեղծման պատմությունը:

«Հայոց ցեղասպանության ժխտումը շատ մեծ սխալ է: Շատ կարևոր է ունենալ կարեկցանքի զգացում, և եթե շատերն ասում են, որ այդ ամենը չի եղել, մեծ սխալ են կատարում: Մենք պետք է կոչ անենք այդ մարդկանց լինել այդ կարեկցանքի մի մասը, որովհետև մենք մի մեծ ընտանիք են, Աստծո զավակները: Այսօր Հայոց ցեղասպանության փաստը պետք է պարտադրի բոլորին գիտակցել, որ նման բաներ այլևս չկրկնվեն»,- շեշտեց Բարանկիցեն:

Մարգարիտ Բարանկիցեն ծաղիկներ խոնարհեց Մեծ եղեռնի անմեղ զոհերի հիշատակը հավերժացնող անմար կրակի մոտ, անվանական ծառ տնկեց հուշահամալիրի տարածքում գտնվող ծառուղում, այնուհետև շրջայց կատարեց Հայոց ցեղասպանության թանգարանում, որտեղ բացվել էր  նաև Ավրորա Մարդիգանյանին եւ «Ավրորա» մրցանակին նվիրված ցուցասրահը:

«Ես այնպիսի տպավորություն ունեմ, որ մարդիկ չկարողացան հասկանալ, որ այս ոճրագործությունները իրոք տեղի են ունեցել: Բայց միևնույն ժամանակ ուզում եմ շնորհավորել հայ ժողովրդին, որն իր պատիվը պահպանեց և համակերպվեց ինչ-որ չափով իր պատմության հետ, ինչպես նաև համարձակվեց շրջել այդ պատմության դաժան էջը, որ ավելի լուսավոր ժամանակներ գան: Սա ինձ հույս է տալիս, որ վաղն այլևս ցեղասպանություններ տեղի չեն ունենա, սա հույս է տալիս նաև իմ երկիր Բուրունդիին, որը պայքարում է անցյալի, ներկայի և ապագայի համար: Պետք է ոտքի կանգնենք, և յուրաքանչյուր մարդ ա րարած պետք է ժխտի իրար դեմ եղբայրական ոճրագործությունները»,- թանգարանում շրջայց կատարելուց հետո  ընդգծեց Բարանկիցեն:

Վերջում «Ավրորա» մրցանակի առաջին դափնեկիրը գրառում թողեց Ցեղասպանության թանգարանի հուշամատյանում.
«Հպարտ հայ ժողովրդից սրտանց շնորհակալ եմ  անվերջ խիզախության համար: Այո′, սերը միշտ կհաղթի»:
