Վստահությունը, որ պահպանակը խանգարում է տղամարդու բնական զգացողություններին, խոսում է այն մասին, որ մենք պարզապես չենք կարողանում ճիշտ հակաբեղմնավորիչ ընտրել: Սխալ պահպանակ ընտրելու դեպքում երկար սպասված սիրո գիշերը կարող է վերածվել տղամարդու կատարյալ անհաջողությամբ: Մասնագետների պնդմամբ, տղամարդիկ հաճախ սխալվում են իրենց անհրաժեշտ ձեւի եւ չափսերի պահպանակի ընտրության հարցում, ինչն իր հերթին բերում է անցանկալի հետեւանքների:

Պահպանակ գնելիս պետք է ուշադրություն դարձնել հետեւյալին. պահպանման ժամկետը, ապրանքի արտադրողը, չափսը եւ քսուքի առկայությունը:

Պահպանման ժամկետն ամենակարեւոր հանգամանքն է, որին պետք է ուշադրություն դարձնել առաջին հերթին: Պահպանակների մեծ մասի դեպքում այն 5 տարի է, ավելի պակաս որակյալների պարագայում (հնդկական կամ չինական)՝ 3 տարի: Հարկավոր է նաեւ հիշել, որ սովորաբար պահպանակները դեղատուն հասնում են պահեստներում 10-15 ամիս մնալուց հետո: Այդ պատճառով մի գնեք, եթե այն արտադրվել է ավելի քան մեկ տարի առաջ: Հարկ է նկատել, որ որոշ արտադրողներ չեն նշում պահպանման ընդհանուր ժամկետը կամ թողարկման ամսաթիվը: Նման արտադրանքից պետք է ընդհանրապես հրաժարվել:

Որակյալ պահպանակների արտադրության առաջատարներ են համարվում ԱՄՆ-ն, Մեծ Բրիտանիան եւ Գերմանիան: Արեւելյան արտադրության պահպանակի ընտրության հարցում պետք է զգույշ լինել:

Որպեսզի օգտագործման ժամանակ այն չվնասվի, հարկավոր է ճիշտ չափս ընտրել: Ներկայում առանց քսուքի պահպանակներ չեն վաճառվում: Սակայն, ամեն դեպքում, հարկավոր է ստուգել «Lubricated» մակագրության առկայությունը: Լուբրիկանտը ոչ միայն հղիությունը, այլեւ վեներական հիվանդությունների փոխանցումը կանխարգելելու լրացուցիչ միջոց է: Քսուքում առկա «Nonoxinol-9»-ն այնպիսի միջավայր է ստեղծում, որի արդյունքում սերմնահեղուկը մեռնում է:

Ինչ վերաբերում է Երեւանում պահպանակների ընտրությանը. առաջին հայացքից կարող է թվալ, որ մեր մայրաքաղաքում ընտրությունը մեծ է, սակայն դեղատներում առաջարկվող պահպանակները տարբերվում են միայն գույնով եւ քսուքի հոտով: Դեղատների մեծ մասում ներկայացված է 5-10 տարբեր արտադրողների պահպանակ:

Միայն մի քանի դեղատներում կարողացանք գտնել պահպանակների լայն ընտրանի: Բայց այս դեպքում խոսքը չափսերի մասին չէ: Հիմնականում դրանք չինական Contex եւ անգլիական Durex ընկերությունների արտադրանքն են, որոնք, ի դեպ, եվրոպական երկրներում առաջատարի դիրքերում են:

Պահպանակների գները տատանվում են 650-ից 2.500 դրամի սահմաններում: Սակայն մասնագետները խորհուրդ են տալիս խուսափել էժանագին արտադրանք գնելուց:

Ղեկավարվելով վերոնշյալ խորհուրդներով, հարկավոր է նախապատվությունը տալ այն պահպանակներին, որոնք կապահովեն ե՛ւ անվտանգությունը, ե՛ւ սեռական ակտից ստացվող առավելագույն հաճույքը:
