ԱՄՆ կոնգրեսականները Վաշինգտոնում թուրքերի կիրառված բռնությունը դատապարտող երկկուսակցական բանաձև են ներկայացրել

Միացյալ Նահանգների Կոնգրեսի Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի արտաքին հարաբերությունների հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Էդ Ռոյսը, Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի անդամներ Էլիոտ Էնգելը, Քևին ՄըքՔարթին և Սթենի Հոյերը ներկայացրել են 354 բանաձևը, որը դատապարտում է մայիսի 16-ին Վաշինգտոնում Թուրքիայի դեսպանի կեցավայրի դիմաց խաղաղ ցուցարարների նկատմամբ կիրառված բռնությունը: Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին Ամերիկայի հայկական համագումարից, Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի երկկուսակցական բանաձևը կոչ է անում կատարվածի պատասխանատուներին արդարադատության առաջ կանգնեցնել:
Բանաձևում ասվում է, որ խաղաղ ցույցից ժամեր անց բռնություն ծագեց, երբ Էրդողանի աջակիցները և Թուրքիայի դեսպանատան անհատները հարձակվեցին խաղաղ ցուցարարների վրա: «Թուրքական անվտանգության զինված աշխատակիցները ծեծեցին, խփեցին ու խեղդեցին անզեն ցուցարարներին»,- նշվում է 354 բանաձևում՝ ընդգծելով, որ այդպիսով թուրքական պաշտոնյաները խախտել են ԱՄՆ քաղաքացիների իրավունքները:
Ընդ որում, հիշատակվում են կատարվածի մասին Վաշինգտոնի ոստիկանության ու այլ զեկույցները, որտեղ արձանագրված է, որ ցուցարարները բռնություն չեն հրահրել, և որ սա Թուրքիայի նախագահ Էրդողանի անվտանգության աշխատակիցների կողմից բռնության գործադրման երրորդ դեպքն է:
Բանաձևը կոչ է անում «ԱՄՆ օրենքներով դատապարտել ու պատասխանատվության ենթարկել թուրքական ցանկացած անվտանգության աշխատակցի, ով ղեկավարել, համակարգել կամ մասնակցել է թուրքական անվտանգության աշխատակիցների կողմից մայիսի 16-ին խաղաղ ցուցարարների նկատմամբ անօրինական ճնշում գործադրելուն»: «Միացյալ Նահանգները պետք է քայլեր ձեռնարկեն ուժեղացնելու մամուլի կամ քաղաքացիական հասարակության ազատությունն այնպիսի երկրներում, ինչպիսինն է Թուրքիան»,- ասվում է բանաձևում:
