Վերջին շրջանում անցկացված հետազոտությունների արդյունքում գիտնականները պարզել են, որ աղի չափազանց շատ օգտագործումը ծերացնում է:Իսկ որքա՞ն աղ է մարդուն պետք: ԱՀԿ-ն սահմանել է օրական 5գր օրական աղի չափաքանակը: Չնայած դրան՝ մարդն օրական օգտագործում է 9-12գր աղ:
Աղը կոշտացնում է անոթները: Աղը խաթարում է անոթների աշխատանքը և անոթները չեն կարողանում սկզբում լայնանալ,հետո իրենց հիմնական ձևին վերադառնալ: Այ պատճառով արագանում է սրտի աշխատանքը և բարձրանում արյան ճնշումը: Աղը դժվարացնում է նաև երիկամների աշխատանքը: Շատ աղ օգտագործելու դեպքում օրգանիզմն աշխատում է նաև գիշերը՝ քնած ժամանակ, որի արդյունքում առավոտյան արյան ճնշումը խիստ բարձրանում է:
Ինչպես սահմանափակել աղի քանակը սննդաբաժնում:
1. Մի գնեք կիսաֆաբրիկատներ, որովհետև երբեք չեք կարող իմանալ , թե դրանց մեջ որքան աղ կա:
2. Մթերք գնելիս ուշադրություն դարձրեք, թե որքան աղ է այն պարունակում:
3. Փորձեք ուտելիքն աղի է, թե՝ ոչ, ապա աղ ավելացրեք, գուցե դրա կարիքն ընդհանրապես չկա:
4. Ուտելիք պատրաստելիս փորձեք աղի փոխարեն այլ խոտաբույսային համեմունքներ օգտագործել:
5. Երբ ուտելիքին լրացուցիչ աղ չավելացնեք, դուք կվարժվեք ուտելիքի այդ համին:
