Նախագահական պաշտոնը թողնելուց հետո Բարաք և Միշել Օբամաները հասցրել են բազմաթիվ հիանալի վայրեր այցելել, այդ թվում՝ Վիրջինյան կղզիներ ու Տահիտի կղզի։ Միլանում որոշ ժամանակ անցկացնելուց հետո Օբամաներն ուղևորվեցին զարմանահրաշ Տոսկանա, ապա՝ Բորգո Ֆինոչիետո, Բուոնկոնվենտո՝ բլրի վրա գտնվող մի շքեղ հանգստավայր։
Ահա, թե ինչ տեսք ունի Բորգո Ֆինոչիետոն, ուր անցկացրել են իրենց հանգիստը ԱՄՆ 44-րդ նախագահն ու իր կինը։
Բորգո Ֆինոչիետոն սեփականաշնորհված գյուղ է, որում գտնվող ընդամենը հինգ տները կարող են հյուրընկալել մինչև 44 հոգու։
Հանգստավայր-գյուղի տարածքը 24281 քառակուսի մետր է։
Գյուղը հիմնադրվել է 1318-ին, սակայն 1980-ականներին բոլորը լքցեին այն։
2001 թվականին ամերիկացի Ջոն Ֆիլիպսը գնեց ողջ գյուղը և սկսեց վերակառուցել այն։ Ի դեպ՝ Ֆիլիպսը Բարաք Օբամայի իշխանության տարիներին՝ 2013-2017 թվականներին, Իտալիայում ԱՄՆ դեսպան էր աշխատում։
Քանի որ տեղանքը հատուկ նշանակություն ունեցող պատմական վայր է, Ֆիլիպսն այն վերականգնելու համար տասնյակ իրավական խնդիրների առաջ էր կանգնել և ստիպված էր շարժվել օրենքի բոլոր պահանջներին համապատասխան։
«Ի սկզբանե որոշել էինք, որ վերանորոգումից հետո ամեն ինչ պետք է լինի այնպես, ինչպես նախկինում էր»,- նշել է Ջոն Ֆիլիպսը։
