Եվրոպան պետք Է ակտիվ միջազգային խաղորդ դառնա միջազգային ասպարեզում: Այդ մասին Բեռլինում հայտարարել Է Գերմանիայի կանցլեր Անգելա Մերկելը՝ ելույթ ունենալով Հնդկաստանի վարչապետ Նարենդրա Մոդիի հետ կայացած համատեղ մամուլի ասուլիսում: «ԱՄՆ-ի, ինչպես նաեւ մյուս գործընկերների հետ շփումներն, իհարկե! , կարեւոր են, անդրատլանտյան հարաբերությունները բացառիկ նշանակություն ունեն,-ասել Է նա:-Բայց ավելի ու ավելի շատ պատճառներ են ի հայտ գալիս այն բանի համար, որ մենք մեր ճակատագիրը մեր ձեռքը վերցնենք»:

«Եվրոպան պետք Է ակտիվ միջազգային խաղորդ դառնա միջազգային գործերում»,-համոզված Է կանցլերը: Նրա խոսքով՝ «անհրաժեշտություն կա ավանդ ներդնել հակամարտությունների լուծման գործում, ինչպես, օրինակ, Լիբիայում, վարել միասնական արտաքին քաղաքականություն»: «Առանձին հարցերում մենք այնքան Էլ լավ չենք մեզ դրսեւորում, ինչպես որ պետք Է լիներ»,- ասել Է Գերմանիայի նախարարների կաբինետի ղեկավարը:

Մերկելը նաեւ մեկնաբանել Է իր հայտարարությունը, որն անցած շաբաթվա վերջին արել Էր «յոթնյակի»՝ իտալական Տաորմին քաղաքում կայացած գագաթնաժողովից հետո, որտեղ նա արձանագրել Էր, թե այն ժամանակները, երբ եվրոպական երկրները կարող Էին հույսը դնել ուրիշների վրա, անցել են: Նրա խոսքերն ընդունվել Էին որպես ակնհայտ քննադատություն ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի հասցեին:

«Ես միայն նշել եմ, որ ընթացիկ իրադրության լույսով ավելի շատ պատճառներ կան այն բանի համար, որ մենք Եվրոպայում մեր ճակատագիրը մեր ձեռքը վերցնենք»,-պարզաբանել Է ԳՖՀ-ի կանցլերը, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
