Հունիսի 1-ը նշանավորվում է ոչ միայն ամռան գալստով, այլեւ երեխաների պաշտպանության միջազգային օրվա շնորհիվ: Օրն ազդարարում է բոլորիս, մասնավորապես ծնողներին, որ երեխաները հասարակության խոցելի խմբերից են եւ ամենօրյա ուշադրության եւ սիրո պահանջ ունեն: «Ժողովուրդ»-ը թեմայի շուրջ զրուցել է հայկական շոու-բիզնեսի մայրիկների հետ, որոնք հանդես են եկել երեխաների դաստիարակությանն առնչվող իրենց տեսակետներով, կարծիք են հայտնել, թե որ դեպքում երեխաները կարող են իրենց պաշտպանված զգալ:
Երգչուհի Հասմիկ Կարապետյան- Ինձ համար երեխային հոգեւոր առումով «լցնելը», նրան որպես անհատ ձեւավորելը միշտ էլ շատ ավելի կարեւոր է եղել, քան նյութական արժեքները: Իսկ նյութականը նպատակներդ ու երազանքներդ իրականացնելու միջոց է միայն: Այսօր շատ ծնողներ գումար աշխատելու մոլուցքին տրվելով` մոռանում են երեխաների հետ ժամանակ անցկացնելու կարեւորության մասին: Ես բալիկիս ծնվելուն պես պասիվացրի գործունեությունս երգարվեստում, որովհետեւ հետո էլ կարելի է աշխատել, բայց երեխայի կորցրած տարիները հետ չես բերի: 
Դերասանուհի Նաիրա Մովսիսյան– Փորձում եմ երեխայիս համար կատարյալ մայր լինել, ինչպես իմ մայրը` ինձ համար, որպեսզի դուստրս հետագայում հիշի իր մանկությունն ու ներքուստ իրեն լավ զգա: Եթե ես կարողանամ մայրիկիս փոխանցածի գոնե տասը տոկոսը տալ իմ երեխային, նա հաստատ հետագայում ինձ շատ շնորհակալ կլինի: Ես պատրաստ եմ հանուն երեխայի զոհել ամեն բան` բացի առողջությունից, որովհետեւ այս վերջին հանգամանքի բացակայությունը բացասական կանդրադառնա հենց երեխայիս կենսակերպի վրա: Այն ծնողներից չեմ, որոնց համար ամենակարեւորը երեխային բամբակի մեջ պահելն է: Միշտ էլ ասում եմ` թող գնա, խաղա, նույնիսկ ցեխոտվի, կեղտոտվի. դա է մանկությունը:
