Ազգային ժողովի ՀՀԿ խմբակցության պատգամավոր Սամվել Ալեքսանյանը հերքում է լուրերը, թե իր դստեր հարսանիքին երգել է աշխարհահռչակ փոփ երգիչ Ջասթին Թիմբերլեյքը, որի համար մեկ միլիոն դոլար է ստացել: Խորհրդարանում լրագրողների հետ զրույցում պատգամավորը վստահեցրեց, որ իր դստեր հարսանիքին երգել են միայն Հայաստանից հրավիրված երգիչներ: «Մի երգիչ է եղել դրսից, նրան էլ իմ ընկերներից մեկն էր իր կողմից հրավիրել»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ նշեց Ալեքսանյանը:
Նա ընդգծեց, որ երգչին մեկ միլիոն դոլար տալու փոխարեն այդ գումարով Հայաստանում նոր արտադրություն կստեղծեր: Լրագրողներից մեկի դիտարկմանը, թե մեկ միլիոն դոլարը իր համար ի՞նչ փող է, Ալեքսանյանը կատակեց. «Մեկ միլիոն դոլարը քո համար փող չի, իմ համար ահագին գումար է: Այդ գումարով ես 500 աշխատողով տրիկոտաժի արտադրություն կհիմնեմ»:
Պատգամավորը հերքեց նաև մամուլում տարածված լուրերն այն մասին, թե օրերս իրեն «Մարիոթ» հյուրանոցի սրճարանում նկատել են օրենքով գող Անդրանիկ Սողոյանի հետ: Դիտարկմանը, թե մամուլն այդ թեմային շատ անդրադարձավ, Ալեքսանյանն ընդգծեց, որ մամուլը նաև գրում է, թե իր դստեր հարսանիքին դրսից մեկ միլիոն դոլարով երգիչ է հրավիրել, ինչը իրականությանը չի համապատասխանում:
