ԱՄԿ-ն պահանջել Է վերջ դնել երեխաների աշխատանքին հակամարտությունների գոտիներում

Աշխատանքի միջազգային կազմակերպությունը (ԱՄԿ) հորդորել Է վերջ դնել մանուկների աշխատանքին հակամարտությունների եւ տարերային աղետների գոտիներում: Այս թեմային Է նվիրված Երեխաների աշխատանքի դեմ պայքարի համաշխարհային օրը, որը նշվում Է հունիսի 12-ին:
«Այսօր մենք ձգտում ենք ուշադրություն հրավիրել հակամարտությունների եւ տարերային աղետների գոտիներում հայտնված եւ առանձնակի վտանգի ենթարկվող երեխաների ճակատագրի վրա, ինչը կապված Է երեխաների աշխատանքի հետ»,-հայտարարել Է ԱՄԿ-ի գլխավոր տնօրեն Գայ Ռայդերը:
ԱՄԿ-ի տվյալներով՝ հակամարտությունների գոտիներում ապրում Է 1,5 մլրդ մարդ եւ տարեկան մոտավորապես 200 միլիոն մարդ տուժում Է տարերային աղետներից. նրանց մեկ երրորդը կազմում են երեխաները: 168 մլն աշխատող երեխաների կեսն զբաղված Է վտանգավոր աշխատանքներով: Ինչպես ընդգծել Է Ռայդերը, հակամարտությունների եւ աղետների շրջաններում տներն ու դպրոցները հաճախ են ավերվում, շատ ընտանիքներ կորցնում են ապրուստ վաստակելու հնարավորությունը: Ընտանեկան աջակցության եւ սոցիալական պաշտպանության բացակայությունը «մեծացնում Է աշխատանքներում երեխաների ներքաշման վտանգը»:
Երեխաների աշխատանքի դեմ պայքարի համաշխարհային օրն առաջին անգամ ԱՄԿ-ն անցկացրել Է 2002 թվականին, եւ այդ ժամանակվանից այն նշվում Է հունիսի 12-ին: Դրա նպատակն Է՝ ուշադրություն հրավիրել մանկական աշխատանքի եւ դրա վերացման նպատակով անհրաժեշտ միջոցներ ձեռնարկելու խնդրի վրա, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
