 ՀՀ վարչապետ Կարեն Կարապետյանն ընդունել է Ֆրանկոֆոնիայի գլխավոր քարտուղարի գրասենյակի տնօրեն Ժան Լուի Աթանգանա Ամուգունուին: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ կառավարության տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից:

Վարչապետը կարևորել է Ֆրանկոֆոնիայի միջազգային կազմակերպության և անդամ պետությունների հետ համագործակցության զարգացումը և անդրադարձել 2018 թվականին Հայաստանում կայանալիք Ֆրանկոֆոն պետությունների ու կառավարությունների ղեկավարների 17-րդ գագաթաժողովի նախապատրաստական աշխատանքների ընթացքին: Գործադիրի ղեկավարը նշել է, որ իր գլխավորությամբ ստեղծվել է գագաթաժողովի նախապատրաստման և անցկացման միջգերատեսչական հանձնաժողով, աշխատանքային խումբ՝ ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարությունում և վստահեցրել, որ ՀՀ կառավարությունը կներդնի անհրաժեշտ ջանքեր՝ միջոցառումը բարձր մակարդակով կազմակերպելու համար: Կարեն Կարապետյանի խոսքով, գագաթաժողովը կարող է դառնալ անդամ պետությունների միջև փոխգործակցության զարգացմանն ուղղված հարցերի ու ծրագրերի քննարկման լավ հարթակ:

Ժան Լուի Աթանգանա Ամուգունուն ընդգծել է Հայաստանի՝ Ֆրանկոֆոնիայի միջազգային կազմակերպության հետ ակտիվ համագործակցությունը, և վստահություն հայտնել, որ գագաթաժողովը մեր երկրում կանցկացվի լավագույնս: Ֆրանկոֆոնիայի գլխավոր քարտուղարի գրասենյակի տնօրենը գոհունակությամբ է ընդգծել, որ տպավորված է միջոցառման նախապատրաստական աշխատանքների ընթացքից և նշել, որ Հայաստանում կայանալիք միջոցառումը կդառնա տոն ֆրանկոֆոն ընտանիքի անդամների համար:
