Հայաստանի բուհական համակարգում բժշկական համալսարանը եղել և մնում է առաջատարներից մեկը: Այս մասին Երևանի Մխիթար Հերացու անվան պետական բժշկական համալսարանի 95-ամյակին նվիրված միջոցառումների շարքի բացման հանդիսավոր արարողության ընթացքում լրագրողների հետ զրույցում նշեց ՀՀ կրթության և գիտության նախարար Արմեն Աշոտյանը:
«Բժշկական համալսարանին միշտ հաջողվում է համատեղել ավանդականը և նորարարականը: Հետևաբար` գործ ունենք դասական և միաժամանակ ժամանակակից բուհի հետ: Բուհ, որ ամեն օր աշխատում է իր վրա: Բուհ, որտեղ ուսանողությունը լավ սովորելու շահագրգռություն ունի: Բուհ, որը գրավիչ է արտասահմանյան ուսանողների համար: Եվ պատահական չէ, որ մեր բուհերի միջազգայնացման առաջատարը բժշկական համալսարանն է»,- նշեց նախարարը:
Արմեն Աշոտյանը շեշտեց, որ բուհի հոբելյանական միջոցառումները մեկնարկել են գիտաժողովով, որը հետաքրքրություն է առաջացրել ոչ միայն հայաստանյան, այլև արտերկրից ժամանած բազմաթիվ գիտնականների մոտ:
«Ինձ համար կրկնակի ուրախալի է, որ այստեղ պահպանվում են ուսանողական կյանքի լավագույն ավանդույթները, ակտիվ գործում են ուսանողական կառույցները: Մենք հպարտություն պետք է ապրենք, որ Հայաստանում ունենք նման հաստատություն»,-հավելեց նա` ընդգծելով, որ բուհի շրջանավարտներն աշխատում են ամբողջ աշխարհում:
Բուհի շրջանավարտ նախարարն ամեն անգամ բժշկական այցելելիս լավ հիշողություններ է ունենում, և փաստում է`իր համար ամեն մի լսարան իր պատմությունն ունի: «Բժշկական համալսարանը չի տալիս բժշկական կրթություն, այն աշխարհայացք է տալիս: Այդ աշխարհայացքով հնարավոր է սեփական տեղը գտնել մասնագիտական գործունեության այլ ոլորտներում»,-հավելեց Արմեն Աշոտյանը:
Ողջունելով գիտաժողովի մասնակից ուսանողներին` նախարարը հորդորեց նրանց վայելել ուսումնական տարիները, սովորել և ուրախանալ: Նա հավելեց, որ հոբելյանի առթիվ կկազմակերպվեն այլ միջոցառումներ ևս:
Երևանի պետական բժշկական համալսարանը (ԵՊԲՀ) տվել է ավելի քան 31 հազար շրջանավարտ։ Անդամակցում է Համալսարանների միջազգային ասոցիացիային,Եվրոպայում ատամնաբուժական կրթության, Եվրոպայում բժշկական կրթության ասոցիացիաների անդամ է։ Կրում է միջնադարի նշանավոր բժիշկ Մխիթար Հերացու անունը։
