Երեւան-Սեւան ավտոճանապարհին անցած տարվա հոկտեմբերի 18-ին բարեգործական միկրոաավտոբուսի մասնակցությամբ տեղի ունեցած ողբերգական վթարի գործով 1.5 տարվա ազատազրկման դատապարտված վարորդ Գագիկ Ստեփանյանի վերաքննիչ բողոքը մերժվել է:
Ստեփանյանի պաշտպան Գարեգին Մարգարյանը Վերաքննիչ էր դիմել՝ պահանջելով մեղմացնել պատիժը եւ այն պայմանականորեն չկիրառել: Վերաքննիչը մերժել է պաշտպանի բողոքն ու առաջին ատյանի կայացրած որոշումը թողել անփոփոխ:
Նշենք, որ Կոտայքի մարզի ընդհանուր իրավասության դատարանը վարորդին մեղավոր էր ճանաչել եւ դատապարտել 1.5 տարվա ազատազրկման, ինչպես նաեւ 2 տարով զրկել վարորդական իրավունքից: Ըստ մեղադրանքի՝ բարեգործական ավտոբուսի վարորդ Գագիկ Ստեփանյանը 2016թ. հոկտեմբերի 18-ին առավոտյան Երեւան-Սեւան ավտոճանապարհի 45 կմ հատվածում իրականացրել է իր վարած ավտոբուսի ոչ պատշաճ եւ վտանգավոր կառավարում, հաշվի չի առել առկա անբարենպաստ ճանապարհային պայմանները, մասնավորապես' ճանապարհային ծածկույթի վիճակը, չի ընտրել երթեւեկության անվտանգ ու սահուն ռեժիմ, ինչի հետեւանքով ավտոբուսը դարձել է անկառավարելի. ավտոբուսը կողասահքով դուրս է եկել հանդիպակաց երթեւեկելի ուղեմաս եւ կողաշրջվելով՝ հարվածել է դեպի Սեւան ուղղությամբ ընթացող Շավարշ Գեւորգյանի մեքենային: Տեխնիկական տեսակետից Գագիկ Ստեփանյանը ստեղծել է վթարային իրադրություն, դրանով իսկ պայմանավորել տվյալ պատահարի առաջացումն ինքն իրեն զրկելով այն կանխելու տեխնիկական հնարավորությունից, ինչի հետեւանքով ավտոբուսի ուղեւորուհի 18-ամյա Հռիփսիմե Գասպարյանը ստացել է գանգուղեղային փակ, բութ վնասվածք եւ մահացել:
Հիշեցնենք, որ Mercedes Benz Sprinter մակնիշի ավտոմեքենան պատկանում էր Վարսեր գյուղի բնակիչ Գագիկ Ստեփանյանին, որն էլ գյուղապետի թեկնածու Հուսիկ Սեդրակյանի մտահղացմամբ, անվճար ուսանողների էր տեղափոխում Երեւան: Երկրորդ օրն էր, որ միկրոավտոբուսը գյուղի երիտասարդներին էր տեղափոխում մայրաքաղաք, երբ այս ողբերգական դեպքը տեղի ունեցավ: Ըստ տարածված տեղեկությունների՝ Ստեփանյանը երթեւեկել է մաշված անվադողերով։ Չնայած խոսակցություններ էլ կային, որ ավտոճանապարհը լավ մաքրված չի եղել:
