Հաստա՛տ իմացեք, որ եթե ցորենի հատիկը հողի մեջ չընկնի և չմեռնի, ինքը կմնա որպես առանձին հատիկ, իսկ երբ մեռնի, բազմաթիվ հատիկներ կտա։ Ով սիրում է իր անձը, կորցնում է այն, իսկ ով անտեսում է իր անձն այս աշխարհում, այն պահած է լինում հավիտենական կյանքի համար։ Ով ուզում է ինձ ծառայել, պետք է հետևի ինձ, և որտեղ ես եմ գտնվում, այնտեղ կլինի և ինձ ծառայողը։ Եվ իմ Հայրը կպատվի ինձ ծառայողին։

Արթուն և պատրա՛ստ եղեք, որովհետև ձեր թշնամին՝ Սատանան, առյուծի նման մռնչալով շրջում և փնտրում է մեկին, որ կուլ տա։ Հաստատուն հավատով կանգնեցե՛ք նրա դեմ՝ իմանալով, որ աշխարհում ձեր բոլոր եղբայրներն էլ նույն չարչարանքներով են անցնում։ Եվ ամեն շնորհ պարգևող Աստվածը, որ Քրիստոս Հիսուսի միջոցով իր հավիտենական փառքին կանչեց ձեզ՝ նկատի ունենալով, որ ինչ-որ չափով մասնակից եղաք Հիսուսի չարչարանքներին, կկազդուրի, կզորացնի և ամուր հիմքերի վրա կհաստատի ձեզ։ Հավիտյան նրա՛նն են իշխանությունն ու փառքը։ Ամեն։
