«Հայկական ժամանակ» թերթը գրում է. «Մեր տեղեկություններով` ՀՀ կրթության եւ գիտության նախարարի տեղակալ Կարինե Հարությունյանին այդ պաշտոնում փոխարինելու է նախորդ գումարման Ազգային ժողովի պատգամավոր, «Բարեպաշտ սերունդ» հիմնադրամի տնօրեն Վահրամ Մկրտչյանը:

Համացանցում  նախկին պատգամավորի մասին հրապարակումներ կան իր բիզնես-գործընկերոջը՝ Պետական տնտեսագիտական համալսարանի դասախոս, գիտությունների թեկնածու Արտակ Ղուկասյանին առեւանգելու, ծեծի ենթարկելու եւ թալանելու մեջ: Մկրտչյանը հերքել է  իր մասնակցությունն այդ դեպքին, իսկ Ղուկասյանի հարազատները կրկին պնդել են:

Նշենք նաեւ, որ կրթության եւ գիտության ապագա փոխնախարարն իր հարցազրույցներից մեկում, խոսելով «Բարեպաշտ» հիմնադրամի մասին, ասել է. «Բարեպաշտ սերունդ» հիմնադրամը կազմավորվել է 2006թ.՝ գործարար Բարսեղ Բեգլարյանի եւ (ԿԳ նախարարի տեղակալ-խմբ.) Մանուկ Մկրտչյանի մտահղացմամբ՝ նպատակ ունենալով ստեղծել այնպիսի կազմակերպություն, որը կնպաստի հայության հարատեւմանը»:

Վահրամ Մկրտչյանը ՀՀԿ անդամ է, մինչ այդ եղել է ԱԺՄ կուսակցության անդամ, հետո` ՀԺԱՄ-ի:

Ապագա նշանակման առնչությամբ նրա մեկնաբանությունը ստանալ մեզ չհաջողվեց: Վահրամ Մկրտչյանը սկզբում, պատասխանելով մեր հեռախոսազանգին, ասաց, որ հոգեհանգստի է, առաջարկեց կապ հաստատել ավելի ուշ: Հետո, սակայն, չպատասխանեց հեռախոսազանգին»:
