Հայկական հեռուստաեթերում սերիալները վաղուց են գրավել իրենց անփոխարինելի ու անզիջում դերը: Հայ հասարակությունը դիտում է այդ սերիալները, ապրում նրանց հերոսների կյանքով ու անգամ վիրտուալ հարթակում շարունակում քննարկել ու վերլուծել սերիալային դերասանների կյանքն ու առօրյան: Սակայն աննախադեպ մեծ դիտողականություն գրանցած սերիալների մասին եթե խոսենք, ապա «Որոգայթն» այս շարքում առաջինն է ու ամենաքննարկվածը: Սա մի հեռուստասերիալ էր՝ համեմված քրեական կյանքի մասին բազում անդրադարձներով, արյունոտ տեսարաններով ու նաև «գողական» բառապաշարով: Երբ սերիալն իր հայտնիության ու ռեյթինգային պիկն էր ապրում, տեղի ունեցավ մի իրադարձություն, որը շոկի ենթարկեց ողջ հանրապետությունը: Անժամանակ, դժբախտ պատահարի արդյունքում կյանքից հեռացան ֆիլմի գլխավոր երկու հերոսները՝ դերասաններ Գեղամ Ղանդիլյանը և Արամ Միսկարյանը: Այն, ինչ տեղի ունեցավ հետո, անհավանական էր. բավական է նշել միայն այն, որ տղաների թաղումներին մասնակցելու էին եկել հանրապետության գրեթե բոլոր ծայրերից: Դե իսկ տղաներին վերջին ուղի ճանապարհող թափորը կիլոմետրերով էր ձգվում: 

Տղաների մահից անցել է արդեն 8 տարի, սակայն մահվան հանգամանքները դեռևս անհասկանալի ու չմեկնաբանված են մնում նրանց հարազատների համար, քանի որ վթարի արդյունքում ողջ մնացած միակ ուղևորը հենց ավտոմեքենայի տերն է եղել, ում ցուցմունքով, սակայն, ղեկին ոչ թե ինքն է եղել, այլ զոհված տղաներից մեկը:
