Հայաստանի Ազգային ժողովի արտաքին հարաբերությունների մշտական հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Արմեն Աշոտյանը ներկայացրել է Եվրոպական Միության Արևելյան գործընկերության ծրագրին Հայաստանի մասնակցության հեռանկարների մասին իր գնահատականները:

Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, Արմեն Աշոտյանը «Ֆեյսբուք»-ի իր էջում գրառում է կատարել, որում նշում է, որ Հայաստանի  մասնակցությունը ԵՄ այս նախաձեռնությանը, բացի քաղաքական և ֆինանսական շարժառիթներից, ունի նաև ուժեղ արժեհամակարգային բաղադրիչ:

«ԱլԳ ձևաչափը չի կարելի դիտարկել որպես ԵՄ-֊Ռուսաստան շահերի առճակատման գոտի, հակառակ դեպքում տուժում են հենց մասնակից երկրները:  ԱլԳ նախաձեռնությունը պիտի առավել նպատակային լինի` ելնելով կոնկրետ երկրի առաջնահերթություններից:  Ավելին ավելիի դիմաց (more for more) մոտեցումը պետք է ունենա նաև քաղաքական հետևանքներ: Համապարփակ և խորացված գործընկերության պայմանագիրը ( Comprehensive and enhanced partnership agreement) որակապես նոր պայմաններ կստեղծվի ինչպես երկկողմ հարաբերությունների, այնպես էլ Հայաստանում բարեփոխումների արդյունավետության բարձրացման համար: Այսօր էլ մի շարք ցուցանիշներով Հայաստանն ավելի տեսանելի հաջողություններ է գրանցել, քան ասոցացված երկրները:  Խորհրդարանական դիվանագիտության գործիքակազմը մեծ ներուժ ունի Հայաստան֊-ԵՄ, այդ թվում` ԱլԳ ձևաչափով հարաբերությունների ամրապնդման համար: Այս ամենը կարող է վտանգված լինել, եթե տարածաշրջանային կայունության և խաղաղության համար ԵՄ-֊ն, որպես գլոբալ դերակատար, բավարար ջանքեր չգործադրի»,- գրել է Աշոտյանը:
