Վրաստանի շրջակա միջավայրի և բնական ռեսուրսների նախարար Գիգլա Ագուլաշվիլին չի բացառում կործանարար ջրհեղեղի կրկնությունը, քանի որ երկուշաբթի օրվանից մայրաքաղաքում հորդառատ անձրևներ են սպասվում, փոխանցում է sputnik-georgia.ru-ն։

«Կիրակի երեկոյան սպասվում են տեղումներ, սակայն ոչ այն ծավալով, ինչպես շաբաթ օրը։ Իսկ երկուշաբթի օրվանից ավելի շատ տեղումներ են սպասվում։ Չի բացառվում, որ նույն հեղեղումները կկրկնվեն, սակայն շանսերը քիչ են»,- հայտարարել է նախարարը։

Այս կապակցությամբ նախարարությունը հանդես է եկել նախաձեռնությամբ. անվտանգության նկատառումներով՝ դադարեցնել որոնողական աշխատանքները և վերսկսել երկուշաբթի առավոտյան։

Երկրի վարչապետ Իրակլի Ղարիբաշվիլին հայտարարել է, որ Վրաստանը կարող է ինքնուրույն հաղթահարել հեղեղումների հետևանքները։ Նա նաև նշել է, որ թեև օգնության առաջարկներ են արել Հայաստանը, Լատվիան, Ադրբեջանը, Թուրքիան և Ուկրաինան, ներկայում օգնության անհրաժեշտություն չկա։

Վարչապետի խոսքով՝ Վրաստանն ունի տեխնիկա և ռեսուրսներ հետևանքների վերացման համար, սակայն երկրին «անհրաժեշտ կլինի արտասահմանյան դոնորների որոշակի ֆինանսական օգնությունը»։

Հունիսի 14-ին հորդառատ անձրևների հետևանքով Թբիլիսիում հեղեղվել էին կենդանաբանական այգին, շների ապաստարանը, բնակելի շենքեր, քաղաքի կենտրոնական փողոցները, վնասվել են ենթակառուցվածքները։

Պաշտոնական տվյալներով՝ զոհվել է 12 մարդ, 36 մարդ ստացել է վնասվածքներ։ ՆԳՆ-ի տվյալներով՝ անհայտ կորած է համարվում 24 մարդ։
