Ամեն տարի ամռանը բավականին մեծանում է անտառային հրդեհների հավանականությունը: Եվ ինչքան էլ գերատեսչությունները ամռան տապից առաջ զգոնության կոչեր են հնչեցնում, այնուամենայնիվ, անտառային հրդեհներից խուսափել այդպես էլ չի հաջողվում: Ու թե այս ընթացքում անզգույշ նետված ծխախոտի կամ անտառում չմարված խորովածի կրակի պատճառով անտառները որքանով են փոքրացել կամ բնությանը ինչքան վնաս է հասցվել, դժվար է ասել: Բայց նորից ամառ է, ու կրկին բնությունը «շունչը պահած» սպասում է, որ գոնե այս տարվանից մարդկային անփութության հետևանքով անտառները չդառնան հրդեհների զոհ:
 
Իսկ համայնքների սեփականություն հանդիսացող ցանքատարածքներն ու արոտավայրերը բուսական մնացորդներից մաքրելու նպատակով այս եղանակին ազգաբնակչության կողմից կատարվող հրկիզումները շատ հաճախ տարածվում են դեպի անտառային տարածքներ և մեծ վնաս պատճառում թե՛ բնությանը, թե՛ շրջակա միջավայրին:
 
Հաշվի առնելով, որ հանրապետության մի շարք մարզերում, մասնավորապես՝ Արմավիրում, Արարատում, Տավուշում արդեն սկսվել է հացահատիկային մշակաբույսերի բերքահավաքը` ՀՀ գյուղատնտեսության նախարարությունը հորդորում է առանձնակի զգոնություն ցուցաբերել այդ աշխատանքներն իրականացնելիս` հիշեցնելով, որ «Մթնոլորտային օդի պահպանության մասին» ՀՀ օրենքի համաձայն` արգելվում է այրել խոզանները, բուսական մնացորդներով ու չորացած բուսականությամբ տարածքները, արոտավայրերի ու խոտհարքերի բուսականությունը ինչպես գյուղատնտեսական, անտառամերձ, անտառային, այնպես էլ բնության հատուկ պահպանվող տարածքներում:
Ի դեպ, օրենքով արգելվում է նաև անտառներում կրակ վառել, վառվող լուցկի կամ ծխախոտի մնացորդ գցել, յուղերով կամ բենզինով ներծծված լաթեր թողնել, ներքին այրման շարժիչների աշխատանքի ժամանակ մեքենան վառելիքով լցավորել, ինչպես նաև ծխել լիցքավորվող մեքենաների մոտ:
 
«Հայանտառ» ՊՈԱԿ–ը հրդեհավտանգ անտառտարածքներում սահմանել է շուրջօրյա հսկողություն և հիշեցնում է, որ խարույկ կամ կրակ թույլատրվում է վառել միայն դրանց համար նախատեսված վայրերում, իսկ վերջում պարտադիր հարկավոր է հանգցնել այն: Միաժամանակ տեղեկացնելով, որ գործող օրենսդրությամբ քրեական և առանձնապես խոշոր չափերի հասնող նյութական պատասխանատվություն է սահմանված ինչպես դիտավորությամբ, այնպես էլ անզգուշությամբ անտառային տարածքներին վնաս պատճառելու համար:
