Իտալիան Հայաստանի կարևորագույն առևտրատնտեսական գործընկերներից է, որն արտացոլվում է երկկողմ առևտրաշրջանառության կայուն աճի ցուցանիշներում: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում նշեց Իտալիայում Հայաստանի արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Վիկտորիա Բաղդասարյանը: Նա անդրադարձել է Հայաստան-Իտալիա հարաբերությունների ներկա փուլին, համատեղ ծրագրերին և հայ համայնքի խնդիրներին:
-Տիկին դեսպան, այս տարի լրանում էՀայաստան-Իտալիա դիվանագիտականհարաբերությունների 25-ամյակը, ի՞նչ ձեռքբերումներ կառանձնացնեք հայ-իտալական դիվանագիտական հարաբերություններում վերջին շրջանում:
-Հայ-իտալական հարաբերություններն ունեն հազարամյակների պատմություն և խորն արմատներ: Դրանք ձևավորվել և զարգացել են դարերի ընթացքում` հիմնվելով մեր ընդհանուր արժեհամակարգի վրա: Դիվանագիտական հարաբերությունների հաստատումից ի վեր՝ անցած 25 տարիների ընթացքում, հայ-իտալական հարաբերությունները զարգացել են բարեկամության և փոխըմբռնման ոգով, նշանավորվել մի շարք ձեռքբերումներով: Սերտ է համագործակցությունը երկկողմ ձևաչափում, ներառյալ՝պաշտպանության, խորհրդարանական դիվանագիտության, մշակույթի, առևտրատնտեսական, տեղական ինքնակառավարման և այլ ոլորտներում:
Նկատելի ընդլայնվել են երկու երկրների պաշտպանական գերատեսչությունների շփումներն ու համագործակցության ասպարեզները, այդ թվում՝ միջազգային խաղաղապահ առաքելությունում: Իտալիայի հետ սերտ համագործակցությամբ 2014թ. նոյեմբերից հայկական դասակն իտալական զորախմբի կազմում իր խաղաղապահ գործունեությունն է կատարում Լիբանանում տեղակայված UNIFIL առաքելությունում:
Հայ-իտալական հարաբերություններում կարևորում ենք խորհրդարանական դիվանագիտության դերը: Իտալիայի վերին ու ստորին պալատներում ձևավորված է 112 պատգամավորից կազմված միջխորհրդարանական բարեկամության խումբը: Առաջիկայում կձևավորվի նաև ՀՀ նորընտիր Ազգային ժողովի Հայաստան-Իտալիա բարեկամական խումբը:
Մայիսի 16-ին Հայաստան-Իտալիա միջխորհրդարանական բարեկամության խմբի և ՀՀ դեսպանության համատեղ ջանքերով Իտալիայի Հանրապետության Սենատում կազմակերպվեց Հայաստանի ու Իտալիայի միջև դիվանագիտական հարաբերությունների հաստատման 25-ամյակին նվիրված համաժողով, որը կրում էր «Հայաստան 25 տարի. Մարտահրավերներ և հեռանկարներ» խորագիրը:
