ՀՀ-ի և ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահի հանդիպման առաջնային թեմաներից մեկը պետք է լինի Ղարաբաղյան հիմնահարցը․ Արփի Վարդանյան

Ամերիկայի հայկական համագումարի տարածաշրջանային տնօրեն Արփի Վարդանյանի խոսքով՝ Հայաստանի և Ամերիկայի Միացյալ Նահանգների նախագահի  հանդիպման առաջնային թեմաներից մեկը պետք է լինի Ղարաբաղյան հիմնահարցը:

«Ցանկացած երկրի համար այլ երկրի նախագահի ետ հանդիպելը շատ կարևոր է, որովհետև դա ցույց է տալիս աշխարհին, որ այդ երկու երկրները միմյանց միջև հարաբերությունների զարգացումը կարևորում են: ԱՄՆ-ը շատ կարևոր է Հայաստանի համար, և Հայաստանն էլ կարևոր երկիր է ԱՄՆ-ի համար այս տարածաշրջանում»,- ասաց նա՝ մատնանշելով, որ սիմվոլիկ է՝ հանդիպումը, երևի թե, կայանում է երկու երկրների միջև դիվանագիտական հարաբերությունների 25-ամյակի առթիվ:

Նշենք, որ  նախագահներ Սերժ Սարգսյանի և Դոնալդ Թրամփի՝ մոտ ապագայում հնարավոր հանդիպման մասին տեղեկացրել է ԱՄՆ-ում ՀՀ դեսպան Գրիգոր Հովհաննիսյանը: Վերջինս «Սպուտնիկ» գործակալությանը տված հարցազրույցում հայտնել էր, որ երկու կողմերի դիվանագետներն աշխատում են հանդիպում կազմակերպելու ուղղությամբ:

Ըստ Արփի Վարդանյանի՝ բոլորն արդեն կամաց-կամաց հասկանում են, որ Հարավային Կովկասը կարևոր տարածաշրջան է, և Հայաստանը, որ  կարևոր մաս  է կազմում այստեղ, կարևոր գործընկեր կարող է լինել ցանկացած երկրի համար:

ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփն այս շրջանում, ըստ Արփի Վարդանյանի, առավել կարևոր գործով էր զբաղված: Նա նշեց, որ, իհարկե, նկատելի է, որ իր նախագահության առաջին ամիսներին Թրամփը Հայաստանով կամ հայկական հարցերով չէր զբաղվում: «Բայց դա չէր նշանակում, որ Հայաստանը կամ այս տարածաշրջանը մոռացվել էին: Հետո չպետք է մոռանալ, որ բացի նախագահից, կան նաև կոնգրեսականներ,  սենատորներ, որոնք ևս շատ բան են որոշում ԱՄՆ քաղաքականությունում, և որոնցից շատերի հետ մենք ունենք լավ հարաբերություններ, և նրանք աջակցում են Հայաստանին: Բայց նրանք միայն Հայաստանի հարցերով չեն զբաղվում, այլ հարցերով էլ են զբաղվում: Հերթը հիմա Հայաստանինն է»,- ասաց նա:

Թե ինչ փոփոխություններ կլինեն ԱՄՆ-ի վերաբերմունքում՝ կապված հայկական հարցերի, մասնավորապես ԼՂ հիմնախնդրի հետ կապված, Արփի Վարդանյանը դժվարացավ պատասխանել:

«Հնարավոր է՝ ԼՂ հիմնախնդրի ստատուս քվոյի մասին խոսք գնա: Ես չեմ պատկերացնում որևէ հանդիպում Թրամփի հետ՝ լինի նախագահի, թե արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մակարդակով, որ չխոսվի ԼՂ հիմնախնդրի մասին: Չպետք է մոռանալ, որ ԱՄՆ-ն ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խումբը նախագահող երկրներից մեկն է, և դա չի փոխվել նոր նախագահի ընտրվելուց հետո: Թե ինչ քննարկումներ կլինեն, ԱՄՆ-ն այս ընթացքում ինչ ակտիվություն կդրսևորի Հարավային Կովկասում, դեռ պարզ չէ: Դեռ, ինչպես ԱՄՆ-ում Հայաստանի դեսպանն էր նշել, շատ հարցեր պետք է քննարկվեն նաև հայկական կողմի, դեսպանների, արտգործնախարարության և նախագահականի հետ»,- ասաց նա:
