Ռուսաստանում ավարտին մոտեցող ՖԻՖԱ-ի Կոնֆեդերացիաների գավաթի 8-րդ խաղարկության հաղթողի տիտղոսը կվիճարկեն ֆուտբոլի աշխարհի գործող չեմպիոն Գերմանիայի եւ Հարավային Ամերիկայի գավաթակիր Չիլիի հավաքականները:
Երկրորդ կիսաեզրափակիչում գերմանացիները 4:1 հաշվով վստահ հաղթանակ տարան Մեքսիկայի հավաքականի նկատմամբ:
Սոչիի «Ֆիշտ» ստադիոնում կայացած հանդիպման սկզբնամասը շատ հաջող ստացվեց Բունդեսթիմի համար: Արդեն 8-րդ րոպեին հաշիվը 2:0 էր: 2 րոպեում դուբլի հեղինակ էր դարձել Գելզենկիրխենի «Շալկեի» 22-ամյա կիսապաշտպան Լեոն Գորեցկան: 2:0 հաշիվը պահպանվեց մինչեւ ընդմիջում, իսկ երկրորդ խաղակեսում գերմանացիները խփեցին նաեւ երրորդ գոլը: 59-րդ րոպեին աչքի ընկավ «Լայպցիգի» կիսապաշտպան Տիմո Վերները: Նախավերջին րոպեին մեքսիկացիները կրճատեցին հաշիվը, սակայն ավելացված ժամանակում փոխարինման դուրս եկած Ամին Յունեսը խփեց եվրոպացիների չորրորդ գոլը՝ վերջակետ դնելով խաղին:
Հիշեցնենք, որ մյուս կիսաեզրափակիչում Չիլիի հավաքականը հետխաղյա 11 մետրանոցներով հաղթել էր Եվրոպայի չեմպիոն պորտուգալացիներին: Հանդիպման հիմնական եւ լրացուցիչ ժամանակն ավարտվել էր 0:0 հաշվով:
Կոնֆեդերացիաների Գավաթի եզրափակիչը կկայանա հուլիսի 2-ին Սանկտ Պետերբուրգում: Պորտուգալիայի եւ Մեքսիկայի հավաքականները երրորդ տեղի համար խաղը կանցկացնեն հուլիսի 2-ին Մոսկվայի «Սպարտակ» ստադիոնում:
