Կոնֆեդերացիաների գավաթի խաղարկության կիսաեզրափակչի երկրորդ խաղում Գերմանիայի հավաքականը խոշոր հաշվով հաղթեց Մեքսիկայի ընտրանուն (4:1):

«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝  Սոչիում կայացած խաղում աշխարհի գործող չեմպիոնները խաղի հաշիվը բացեցին 6-րդ րոպեին: Գոլը խփեց Լեոն Գորեցկան: Ընդամենը 2 րոպե անց Բունդեսմանշաֆթը կրկնապակեց հաշվի տարբերությունը: Աշխարհի չեմպիոնները խփեց նաև 3-րդ գնդակը երկրորդ կեսի 59-րդ րոպեին: Մրցակցի դարպասը գրավեց Վարները: Խաղակեսի վերջնամասում Մեքսիկայի հավաքականը խփեց հեղինակության գնդակը: Հեռահար շեշտակի հարվածով գոլը խփեց Ֆաբիանը: Մեկ անց գերմանացիները արդեն 4-րդ գնդակն ուղարկեցին Մեքսիկայի դարպասը: Յունեսը հեղինակեց գնդակը:

Կոնֆեդերացիաների գավաթի խաղարկության եզրափակիչը կկայանա հուլիսի 2-ին Սանկտ-Պետերբուրգում:
