Հայաստանում նշվում է դատախազության աշխատակցի օրը

Հուլիսի 1-ը Հայաստանում նշվում է որպես Դատախազության աշխատակցի օր: Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ դատախազության պաշտոնական կայքէջից, 1991 թվականի սեպտեմբերի 21-ին հռչակելով իր անկախությունը, Հայաստանի երրորդ Հանրապետության Գերագույն խորհուրդը հայտարարեց, որ նախկին օրենսդրական եւ այլ ակտերի գործողությունը երկրի տարածքում կշարունակվի այնքանով, որքանով չեն հակասում անկախության Հռչակագրի իդեալներին: Սկզբունքներին չհակասող իրավական ակտերի թվին դասվեց նաեւ «Դատախազության մասին» ԽՍՀՄ օրենքը եւ նորանկախ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության դատախազության մարմինները, մինչեւ նոր օրենքի ընդունումը, իրենց գործունեության ընթացքում առաջնորդվում էին հենց այդ օրենքով:
ՀՀ դատախազության գործունեությունը կանոնակարգող ազգային օրենսդրության ստեղծման առաջին քայլերից է ՀՀ դատախազության կառուցվածքում որպես առանձին ստորաբաժանում զինվորական դատախազության կազմավորումը, որը տեղի ունեցավ 1992 թվականի հոկտեմբերի 5-ին: Իսկ 1995 թվականի հուլիսի 5-ին ընդունվեց Հայաստանի Հանրապետության առաջին Սահմանադրությունը, որի 103-րդ հոդվածը սահմանում է դատախազության լիազորությունների եւ խնդիրների շրջանակը: Դատախազության մասին ազգային օրենքն ընդունվել է 1998 թվականի հուլիսի 1-ին, որը գործողության մեջ մտավ 1999 թվականի հունվարի 12-ից: 1999 թվականի սկզբներին, «Դատախազության մասին» ՀՀ օրենքի համաձայն, ձեւավորվեցին հանրապետության դատախազության նոր կառուցվածքային ստորաբաժանումները՝ գլխավոր դատախազությունն իր բաժիններով եւ վարչություններով, մարզերի, Երեւան քաղաքի եւ Երեւան քաղաքի համայնքների, ինչպես նաեւ կայազորների զինվորական դատախազությունները:
1999 թվականի փետրվարի 23-ին բացվեց ՀՀ գլխավոր դատախազության գիտաուսումնական կենտրոնը, որը դարձել է դատախազական, քննչական կադրերի վերապատրաստման եւ գիտամեթոդական հետազոտությունների իրականացման հեղինակավոր հաստատություններից մեկը հանրապետությունում:
ՀՀ Կառավարության 2003 թվականի մարտի 7-ի թիվ 207-Ն որոշմամբ հուլիսի 1-ը հայտարարվել է դատախազության աշխատողի օր:
