ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը հուլիսի 2-ին ՉԺՀ-ի նախագահ Սի Ցզինպինի հետ կայացած հեռախոսազրույցի ժամանակ նշել Է աճող սպառնալիքը ԿԺԴՀ-ի միջուկային եւ հրթիռային ծրագրերի կողմից: Այս մասին ասված Է Սպիտակ տան տարածած հայտարարության մեջ:
«Նախագահ Թրամփն ուշադրություն Է հրավիրել այն աճող սպառնալիքին, որը բխում Է Հյուսիսային Կորեայի միջուկային եւ հրթիռային ծրագրերից: Երկու ղեկավարները վերստին հավաստել են Կորեական թերակղզու միջուկազերծման՝ իրենց ձգտումը»,- ասված Է փաստաթղթում:
Միացյալ Նահանգների ղեկավարը «հավաստել Է իր վճռականությունն ավելի հավասարակշռված առեւտրական հարաբերությունների հասնելու Ամերիկայի առեւտրական գործընկերների հետ»: «Երկու ղեկավարները նաեւ քննարկել են փոխադարձ հետաքրքրություն ներկայացնող մի շարք այլ տարածաշրջանային եւ եկկողմ հարցեր եւ հավաստել են, որ իրենք մտադիր են հանդիպել G20-ի ժամանակ Համբուրգում (Գերմանիա),- եզրափակել են Սպիտակ տանը, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
