Այս պարագայում ֆիզիկապես թերզարգացվածության վրա կարող են տարբեր գործոններ ազդել՝ առաջին շունչը լինում է ավելի ուշ, երբեմն պտղաջրերը կարող են ընկնել շնչուղիների մեջ, իսկ նարկոզը կարող է բացասական ազդեցություն ունենալ երեխայի նյարդային համակարգի վրա: Իրականում այս ամենը չի նշանակում, որ երեխան հետ է մնալու զարգացման մեջ: Այս երեխաները քաշի և աճի թերզարգացման ռիսկային խմբին են պատկանում: Կլինեն արդյոք երեխայի մոտ զարգացման խնդիրներ, թե ոչ, կախված է նաև նրանից՝ կեսարյան հատումը եղել է պլանային, թե արտակարգ: Երկրորդ դեպքում օրգանիզմը պատրաստված չի լինում, ինչը մեծացնում է ռիսկը:
Միֆ 4. Կեսարյան հատմամբ ծնված երեխաներն ավելի հաճախ են լացում
Բնական ծննդաբերության ժամանակ երեխան մեծ սթրես է ապրում, ինչն ակտիվացնում է տարատեսակ հորմոններ և նյարդա-ֆիզիոլոգիական գործընթացներ: Սա օգնում է երեխայի հոգեվիճակը դարձնել ավելի դիմացկուն և ադապտացվող: Իսկ այ կեսարյան հատմամբ ծնված երեխաները չեն վերապրում նման սթրես, այդ իսկ պատճառով նրանց նյարդային համակարգն ավելի խոցելի է: Սա իրենից որոշակի ռիսկ է ներկայացնում, սակայն բնավ օրինաչափություն չէ:
Միֆ 5. Կեսարյան հատումից հետո մայրը կաթ չի ունենալու, ինչի պատճառով երեխան ավելի վատ է զարգանալու
Հետազոտությունների արդյունքում պարզվել է, որ կեսարյան հատմամբ ծնված երեխաների գլխուղեղի վիճակը կարգավորվում է ծնվելուց հետո 9-10-րդ օրը, իսկ բնական ծննդաբերությամբ ծնվածներինը՝ հենց 1-ին օրը: Երբեմն կեսարյան հատումից հետո կնոջ մոտ խախտվում է լակտացիայի գործընթացը, ինչի արդյունքում կաթ իրոք չի լինում: Բացի այդ՝ անգամ կաթի առկայության պարագայում չարժի երեխային դրանով կերակրել, քանի որ ծննդաբերությունից հետո մայրն ուժեղ ազդող հակաբիոտիկներ է ընդունում, և չի կարելի, որ դրանք անցնեն երեխային:
