Ինչպե՞ս վարվել երկրաշարժի ցնցումների ժամանակ, ի՞նչ միջոցներ կիրառել, ինչպե՞ս ավելի անվտանգ դարձնել մեզ և մեր հարազատներին, ներկայացնում ենք ստորև.
 
1. Անհրաժեշտ է որքան կարելի է հեռու կանգնել պատուհաններից, մեծ և ծանր կահույքից: Եթե տանը ունեք ամուր նյութից պատրաստված սեղան կարող եք թաքնվել դրա տակ, սակայն ավելի լավ կլինի կանգնել հիմնական պատերի տակ:
 
2. Հիշեք, որ երկրաշարժի ժամանակ, եթե բարձր հարկերում եք, չի կարելի նույնիսկ փորձել դուրս գալ շինությունից, քանի որ այդպիսի պահերի մեծ վտանգ են ներկայացնում վերևից ընկնող բեկորները: Պետք է սպասել մինչև ցնցումները կավարտվեն, իսկ հետո կարող եք լքել շինությունը:
 
3. Երկրաշարժի ժամանակ կտրուկ արգելվում է շինությունը լքել վերելակի օգնությամբ, որովհետև այն կարող է ընկնել կամ մնալ հարկերի արանքում:
 
4. Եթե շինությունը բարձրահարկ չէ, կամ դուք գտնվում եք առաջին հարկում, ապա կարող եք շատ զգույշ և արագ դուրս գալ այդտեղից և կանգնել որքան հնարավոր է հեռու բարձրահարկ շինություններից:
 
5. Եթե երկրաշարժի ժամանակ գտնվում եք բարձրահարկ շինությանը շատ մոտ, ապա արագ պետք է կանգնել այդ շինության մուտքի տակ, որպեսզի պաշտպանված լինեք վերևից թափվող բեկորներից: Ոմանք նույնիսկ փորձում են որքան կարելի է հեռու փախչել դրանցից, սակայն երկրաշարժի ժամանակ վազելուց անպայման գլխապտույտ կսկսվի:
 
6. Եթե երկրաշարժի ժամանակ գտնվում եք բաց տարծությունում, աշխատեք հեռու կանգնել էլեկտրական հոսանքալարերից:
 
7. Եթե այդ պահին գտնվում եք մեքենայում, անհրաժեշտ է այն անհապաղ կանգնեցնել որքան կարելի է հեռու բարձր շենքերից և սպասել ցնցումների ավարտին:
 
8. Եթե երկրաշարժի ժամանակ գտնվում եք նավակի մեջ, իսկ ափին կան բարձրահարկ շինություններ, ավելի լավ է ափից ավելի հեռու գնալ, իսկ, եթե ափին ոչինչ չկա, ապա անհապաղ պետք է դուրս գալ ափ, քանի որ նման դեպքերում երկրաշարժը կարող է ցունամի կամ ուժեղ ալեկոծություն առաջացնել:
 
9. Հիշեք, որ առաջին ցնցումից հետո կարող է լինել կարճ դադար, ապա դրան հաջորդեն ևս մի քանի ցնցումներ: Այդ պատճառով առաջին ցնցումից հետո աշխատեք գործել շատ զգույշ և մտածված:
