Վաշինգտոնը, Տոկիոն եւ Սեուլը համաձայնության եկել, որ Մոսկվան կարեւոր դեր Է խաղում ԿԺԴՀ-ի շուրջն ստեղծված իրադրության կարգավորման հարցում: Համապատասխան դիքորոշումը, ինչպես հուլիսի 7-ին հաղորդել Է Ճապոնիայի Kyodo գործակալությունը, նշվել Է ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի, Ճապոնիայի վարչապետ Սինձո Աբեի եւ Կորեայի Հանրապետության նախագահ Մուն Չժե Ինի՝ Համբուրգում կայացած հանդիպման ընթացքում:

Նշվում Է, որ հանդիպման ընթացքում, որը տեղի Է ունեցել G20-ի գագաթնաժողովի նախաշեմին, երեք երկրների ղեկավարները նաեւ ընդգծել են, որ նաեւ Չինաստանից են ավելի ակտիվ գորողություններ ակնկալում Կորեական թերակղզու ճգնաժամի կարգավորման ուղղությամբ: Հաղորդվում Է, որ 75-րոպեանոց բանակցությունների ընթացքում նախագահ Թրամփը հասկանալ Է տվել, որ ԱՄՆ-ը ներկայումս քննարկում Է ՉԺՀ-ի ընկերությունների եւ չինացի մասնավոր անձանց նկատմամբ պատժամիջոցների սահմանման հնարավորությունը, որոնք առեւտուր են անում ԿԺԴՀ-ի հետ:

Կորեական թերակղզում իրադրությունը շարունակում Է չափազանց լարված մնալ հյուսիսկորեական հրթիռային ծրագրի ակտիվ զարգացման ֆոնին: Հուլիսի 4-ին ԿԺԴՀ-ն կատարեց «Հվանսոն-14» միջմայրցամաքային բալիստիկ հրթիռի փորձարկում, ինչը սուր արձագանք հարուցեց ԱՄՆ-ի, Ճապոնիայի եւ Հարավային Կորեայի կողմից, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
