Մարդու իրավունքների եվրոպական դատարանը ադրբեջանցի լրագրող Աղվան Մուխթարլիի գործը կքննի արագացված ռեժիմով: Այս մասին հայտարարել է փաստաբան Արչիլ Չոպիկաշվիլին, հայտնում է «Գրուզիա օնլայնը»:
Նրա խոսքով` մարդու իրավունքների Ստրասբուրգի դատարանը առաջնահերթություն է տվել «Աղվան Մուխթարլին ընդդեմ Վրաստանի եւ Ադրբեջանի» գործին:
2015 թվականից Վրաստանում ապրող Մուխթարլին մայիսի 29-ին Թբիլիսիում կորել է: Ավելի ուշ պարզվել է, որ նա կալանավորված է, գտնվում է Բաքվում եւ մեղադրվում է սահմանի ապօրինի հատման, մաքսանենգության ու ոստիկանության աշխատակցին դիմադրելու մեջ: Մայիսի 31-ին Բաքվի դատարանը նրան ազատազրկման է դատապարտել:
Լրագրողի ընտանիքը պնդում է, որ նրան առեւանգել են եւ գաղտնի Ադրբեջան տարել: Մուխթարլիի ազգականները համոզված են, որ նրա առեւանգմանը մասնակցել են նաեւ Վրաստանի իրավապահ մարմինների ներկայացուցիչները:
Վրաստանում Մուհթարլիի անհետացման հետ կապված քրեական գործ է հարուցվել «ազատությունից ապօրինի զրկելու» հոդվածով: Ադրբեջանցի լրագրողի անհետացման գործը մեծ արձագանք է գտել վրացի հասարակության շրջանում: Վրաստանի լրատվամիջոցների եւ հասարակական կազմակերպությունների ներկայացուցիչները Թբիլիսիում եւ Վրաստանի այլ քաղաքներում Մուհթարլիի աջակցության ակցիաներ են կազմակերպել:
Մուհթարլիի ձերբակալությանն արձագանքել են նաեւ արտասահմանում: Թափանցիկ եւ շտապ քննություն է պահանջել Արտաքին քաղաքականության եվրոպական ծառայությունը, Եվրոպայի խորհուրդը, ԱՄՆ Պետքարտուղարությունը, «Թղթակիցներ առանց սահմանների» միջազգային կազմակերպությունը: Եվրախորհրդարանը հատուկ բանաձեւ է ընդունել` նվիրված Ադրբեջանում լրատվամիջոցների վիճակին եւ Մուհթարլիի գործին:
