Ներկայացնում ենք հինգ միջոց, որոնք կօգնեն ձեզ հոգեպես պատրաստ լինել կարևոր քայլին, որն է ծխելը վերջնականապես թողնելը, հրաժարվելն անգամ մեկ ծխախոտից։

1. Հետևեք, թե ամենից հաճախ երբ եք ծխում. նոթատետրում գրանցեք, թե ինչն է ձեզ ստիպում ձեռքը տանել ծխախոտին ու կրակայրիչին։ Այնուհետև կազմեք այն գործերի ցուցակը, որոնք կարող են փոխարինել այս վնասակար սովորությանը։ Օրինակ՝ կարող եք տանից դուրս գալիս ձեզ հետ գլուխկոտրուկների գիրք վերցնել և ազատ ժամանակ զբաղվել դրանով։ Ծխելուց հրաժարվելը շատ ավելի հեշտ կլինի, եթե հասկանաք, որ ծխում եք ոչ թե ապրելու, այլ ազատ ժամանակ զբաղվելու համար։

2. Եթե որոշել եք թողնել ծխելը, ապա պետք է անել դա միանգամից ու հավերժ։ Սկսեք այն օրվանից, որի ընթացքում նյարդային պահեր քիչ են լինում և աստիճանաբար փորձեք ազատվել ծխախոտից և կրակայրիչից (նախընտրելի է, որ նետեք դրանք աղբամանը. չէ՞ որ այլևս չեք օգտագործելու)։ Պլանավորեք ձեր օրը և ամեն վայրկյան զբաղված եղեք, որպեսզի այլևս ժամանակ չգտնեք ծխելու համար։

3. Հստակեցրեք ձեր ցանկությունները և կենտրոնացեք դրանց իրականացման վրա։ Հասկացեք, որ այս վնասակար սովորությունից ազատվելու դիմաց դուք կստանաք գեղեցիկ արտաքին տեսք, առողջ շնչառություն, տնտեսված գումար, որը կարելի է ծախսել գնումներ կատարելով։

4. Ձեր շրջապատում գտեք նրանց, ովքեր չեն ծխում կամ կարողացել են ազատվել այդ սովորությունից։ Նրանց հետ դուք ստիպված չեք լինի տեսնել, թե ինչպես են ուրիշները ծխում և դա չի «գայթակղի» ձեզ։ Թող նրանք իմանան ձեր ցանկության մասին և սատարեն Ձեզ այդ հարցում։

5. Սովորեք ասել՝ «ոչ, ես այլևս չեմ ծխում» և մի ամաչեք հարկ եղած դեպքում մի քանի անգամ կրկնել այս նախադասությունը։ Միշտ հիշեք, թե ինչ եք ձեռք բերելու ծխելը թողնելու դիմաց. օրինակ՝ նոր կոշիկներ կամ այցելություն թանկարժեք ռեստորան։
