Հռոմի Ֆրանցիսկոս Պապը խորը մտահոգություն է հայտնել, որ Համբուրգում անցկացվող G20-ի գագաթնաժողովում կարող են աշխարհի առաջատար երկրների միջեւ աղքատների եւ միգրանտների դեմ դաշինքներ ստեղծվել, գրում է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին:
Կաթոլիկ Քահանայապետն այս մասին խոսել է իտալացի հայտնի լրագրող Repubblica պարբերականի հիմնադիր Էուջենիո Սկալֆարիի հետ զրույցում:
«Վտանգը վերաբերում է միգրացիային: Ժամանակակից աշխարհում մենք գլխավոր եւ, ցավոք, աճող խնդիր ունենք. դա աղքատների, թույլերի խնդիրն է, որոնց մաս են կազմում միգրանտները: Մյուս կողմից՝ կան երկրներ, որտեղ աղքատների մեծ մասը ոչ թե միգրացիոն հոսքի արդյունք են, այլ սոցիալական աղետների: Այլ երկրներում էլ տեղացի աղքատների թիվը քիչ է, բայց նրանք մտավախություն ունեն միգրանտների հոսքից: Ահա թե ինչու է G20-ն անհանգստացնում ինձ»,- հայտարարել է Ֆրանցիսկոս Պապը:
Ուրբաթ Սուրբ Աթոռի մամուլի ծառայությունը հատուկ ուղերձ էր հրապարակել, որը G20-ի նախաշեմին Ֆրանցիսկոս Պապն ուղղել էր Գերմանիայի կանցլեր Անգելա Մերկելին: Դրանում Հռոմի Պապն ընդգծել է, որ այժմյան միգրացիոն ճգնաժամն առանձնացված չէ աղքատության եւ աշխարհում շարունակվող պատերազմների խնդրից:
