Ռուս-ամերիկյան հարաբերություններում միշտ էլ կարելի է զարգացում ակնկալել: Tert.am-ի հետ զրույցում այս մասին ասաց ռուս արևելագետ, Մերձավոր Արևելքի ինստիտուտի նախագահ Եվգենի Սատանովսկին՝ խոսելով G20-ի շրջանակներում ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի ու ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի հանդիպման մասին:
Քաղաքագետը նշեց, որ դեռևս վաղ է խոսել՝ արդյոք կլինի՞ դրական տեղաշարժ ԱՄՆ-ՌԴ հարաբերություններում, որովհետև «երկու երկրների ղեկավարները դեռևս միայն հանդիպել են ու իրենց դուր է եկել միմյանց հետ խոսելը, ոչ ավելին»:
Իսկ թե ինչի՞ց է կախված դրական զարգացումը, Եվգենի Սատանովսկին պատասխանեց, թե դժվար է ձևակերպել՝ որն է երկու երկրների միջև լավ հարաբերություններ ապահովելու գրավականը:
«ԱՄՆ-ՌԴ հարաբերությունները ամենից լավն էին այն ժամանակ, երբ երկիրը քանդվում էր: Դա ձեռնտու էր մեր ամերիկյան գործընկերներին, նրանք ընկերություն էին անում մեզ հետ: Իսկ նման լավ հարաբերություններ ես չէի ցանկանա: Ես չգիտեմ՝ ի՞նչ է նշանակում լավ հարաբերություններ: Սա իրականության հետ կապ չունեցող հարց է: Հիմա Հայաստանի ու Ադրբեջանի միջև ո՞ր հարաբերություններն են լավը: Ինչպե՞ս կպատասխանեք այս հարցին: Սա ինդիվիդուալ հարց է»,- նշեց Սատանովսկին:
Քաղաքագետն ասաց, թե ԱՄՆ-ի և Ռուսաստանի միջև այլ հարաբերություններ չեն էլ կարող լինել, որովհետև Միացյալ Նահանգներն այն երկիրն է, որն ուզում էր «կոտրել, ծնկի իջեցնել» Ռուսաստանի Դաշնությանն ու հիմա «հիասթափված է, որ չի հաջողում այս գործում»:
«ԱՄՆ հետ չեն կարող լինել իրավահասար, ընկերական, գործնական հարաբերություններ: Գործընկերությունն ու բարեկամությունը կարող է լինել մարդկանց միջև: Իսկ ԱՄՆ-ն ունակ է ոչնչացնել ցանկացած մրցակցի, բոլորին՝ Ֆրանսիային, Մեծ Բրիտանիային, Ռուսաստանին: Ի՞նչ կարելի է անել սրա դեմ: Ոչինչ, ընդունել ի գիտություն»,- շեշտեց Եվգենի Սատանովսկին:
