Բոժոժավոր օձը գլխի հատվածում փոսիկ ունի: Վտանգի պահին այն սկսում է շարժել իր պոչը: Այն իր զոհի վրա հարձակվում է 1/10-րդ վայրկյանում: Այս օձը բնակնվում է Հարավ-արևելյան Ասիայում և Ամերիկայում, 2 տեսակ էլ հանդիպում է Ռուսաստանում:
Սև մամբա
Սև մամբան թունավոր օձ է, որը տարածված է Աֆրիկայում: Այս օձի շարժման արագությունը 25 կմ/ժ է, և խայթում է այն կայծակնային արագությամբ:
Ժապավենավոր կրայտ
Ժապավենավոր կրայտը թունավոր օձ է, որը հանդիպում է Հնդկաստանում, Չինաստանի հարավում և Բիրմայում: Նրանք սիրում են ջրում բնակվել և նախընտրում են գիշերային ժամերը: Նրանք հաճախ գլուխը պահում են պոչի տակ:
Վագրային օձ
Վագրային օձերը տարածված են Ավստրալիայի հարավ-արևելքում, Թասմանիա կղզիում և Նոր Գվինեայում: Դրանք հանդիպում են անտառներում, դաշտերում, արոտավայրերում, անապատներում: Այս օձի թույնը կարող է անշարժացնել մարդուն:
Անապատային տայպան
Այս օձը նույնպես տարածված է Ավստրալիայում, նրա թույնը կարող է սպանել 100 մարդու:
Ցանցաձև շագանակագույն օձ
Ցամաքքային օձերի ցանկում այս ավստրալական օձն իր թունավորությամբ 2-րդ տեղում է:
Սովարական իժ
Այս տեսակը հանդիպում է Եվրոպայում և Ասիայում: Մեծահասակ օձերի երկարությունը հասնում է 60 սանտիմետրի: Իժի խայթոցը մահացու չէ, սակայն թունավոր է:
Թագավորական կոբրա
Սա ամենավտանգավոր օձերից է. մեկ խայթոցից հավաքված թույնը բավարար է 20 մարդ կամ էլ 1 փիղ սպանելու համար: Թագավորական կոբրան բնակվում է Հնդկաստանի անտառներում և Չինաստանի հարավում:
Ֆիլիպինյան կոբրա
Այս օձն ունակ է «դուրս թքել» իր թույնը 3 մետր հեռավրության վրա: Մեկ խայթոցվ այն կարող է միանգամից մի քանի հոգու սպանել: Ինչպես անվանումն է հուշում, այն հանդիպում է Ֆիլիպինյան արշիպելագի հյուսիսային կղզիներում:
Էֆա
Այս օձը հանդիպում է Հնդկաստանի, Պակիստանի և Աֆրիկայի շատ շրջաններում: Երկարության առումով այդքան մեծ չեն՝ ոչ ավելի քան 90 սանտիմետր: Դրա թույնը ուժեղ ցավ է պատճառում և կարող է սպանել դանդաղ երկու շաբաթվա ընթացքում:
